Athens Diner

The Athens Diner is always a great place to eat they've got a good number of tables and the place is clean.. the staff is friendly the food is good and it's priced reasonably.... the portions are ample.... It's a seat yourself kind of place and breakfast is always available no matter what time of day..... and they have a full liquor license too!

Food is very good. Love the hash. Great selection. Most wait staff is very friendly. Some lack the personality required for a waitress, but not bad enough that I wouldn't go back. Decent price, so great for the kids too.

The food and prices are great. The staff is friendly and helpful too. The only reason that I can only give it 3 stars is because of the opening time. They list 6 am as opening time which is perfect for me. On 3 recent occasions they were not open on time. The most recent was last week. The staff was inside with the lights on, the barstools were on the counter and the door was locked. This was at 6:25 am! I knocked on the door but was not heard. I had to have passed 10 other breakfast spots on the way there, and they let me down again. I had to backtrack to another place costing me time that i didn't have. As the previous owner of a restaurant, this is a no-no. Correct this, and I may be back. Thanks.

This place has a limited menus. The food was good. My only complaint was the bathroom. It was in need of cleaning.

Great breakfast. I ordered bacon and eggs, they had a lemon ricotta pancakes special and let me order 1 pancake just to try it. Sooo good! Other things I’ve tried are delicious chowder, fish and chips huge portion, light and crispy.
