Attic Storage

I've used this storage facility twice in my life at two separate times. They take a lot of pride in their units. Barbara is a gem and it has a "like family" feel. There are good specials when you can catch them online. I'd recommend to anyone.

I went to Attic Storage looking for a unit and I was extremely pleased..Ms.Barb truly extended herself..She was very helpful and actually went out of her way to make me important..She reminded me of by how compassionate people can be...For that I appreciate her from the bottom of my heart..Not only did she provide great services to get started with her company...She once again extended herself by listening to me about some things that was heavy on my chest ...So not only did she do her job WELL DONE...She also briefly became a counselor....She is truly an ANGLE...I recommend everyone to ATTIC STORAGE OF NKC

There are many positive reviews about this storage location and it is only befitting that another should be added. Mgr Barb is truly a special person. She runs a tight ship but is also very accommodating. Sweet, sincere and very, very professional in every respect. A special lady with a great attitude and a warm tender smile. Every time - no exceptions! She can manage my business any time of the day, month or year.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have rented from several storage facilities and this one is by far the worst. From the moment I got there, the manager was very rude and showed no interest in caring about my belongings I was storing. She asked if I had a lock for my other door, as I had two doors that needed locks and didn’t have an extra one handy the day I got it. I told her I would be there in one hour and get a lock on it. When I got there she had already removed her lock, leaving my door Accessible for anyone to get inside. This carelessness really upset me because I have my grandmothers wedding ring and a lot of expensive tools inside. I am a machinist, which is why i have a lot of tools, and I also sell items I get from storage auctions online, which brings me to my next example. The second day I was there I was moving in more items and rearranging everything, I also happened to take a couple pictures to post online later. Apparently there is a time limit you can stay at that storage facility, because according to her based on the amount of time I had been there, I must be going against the rules and working out of my storage unit, even though I was only moving things in and happened to take three pictures of my things as I had them in my hands because it was just convenient to do so. On the third day I got a flat tire inside her facility because she doesn’t keep a clean nail free drive way to park, so I was fixing my tire and she said she knew what I was doing and I was going to have to get out because I can’t work out of my unit. She has now issued me paper work for a lease termination. Stay away from this place!! Worst management I have ever seen!

For starters, the facility is clean and very well maintained. I don’t have any worries around security, as it’s well lit and adequate surveillance. Definitely have piece of mind knowing my stuff is in good hands at Attic Storage. Secondly I was having struggles reserving a unit online, contacted Barb, and she was beyond friendly and helpful. She made sure I got my unit secured and still vouched the online promos even though I was having computer issues on my end. I feel very happy giving my business to someone who’s willing to take the extra steps to make sure the customer is completely taken care of/satisfied! If I could give 10 stars I would, just because Barb deserves it :

I rented from Attic Storage NKC in 2016 for little over 2 years and NEVER had any issues. So when I was in need of a unit in 2021 I did not second guess and went right back to them. The office manager is very nice and helpful. I recently had a large unit and after moving most of my things out to a smaller house.. I was still in need of a smaller unit, which I was quickly accommodated with. My go to place when in need of a storage unit. Thank You!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Ms. Barb has been so great and understanding as well as easy to talk to! The unit was well lit and maintained. It’s very secure the lock that they can provide. And they’re super nice locks. But the prices are better than most. I love them!

I can’t believe how clean this place is! They definitely go above and beyond to make sure you know your property is well taken care of. Barbara, in the office, is always pleasant and professional and goes the extra mile to see that your needs are met and that you feel secure in your decision to choose attic storage. I have had 3 units there at various times and wouldn’t hesitate to refer them to anyone I know.

I’m very happy with my storage unit here. I have a climate controlled and I feel like it’s very reasonably priced and the facility is top notch honestly. I was really impressed with the drive up entrance and have had a very pleasant experience! Also too, I feel like it’s important to mention that I have never once felt unsafe here. I’ve been here at dark before, alone, and everything was well lit and I felt snug as a bug in a rug. I appreciate that only tenants can use the gate, and you must stay current rent wise or communicate to keep your code active, so that keeps any drama out too. I am so relieved to have this extra space to store stuff since my apartment is kinda small. I have only met with the office people at the beginning to obtain my lock and unit and the gentleman was very polite and helpful. Their online platform for bill pay is very user friendly so I have never had to call the office since that day, but I appreciate that they are readily available if you have an emergency or problem. My ONLY thing that I could even suggest as a consideration for Attic Storage to maybe think about doing would be to add a dumpster. As far as I know, right now there isn’t one at the NKC location. I would be willing to pay another buck or few a month for that convenience. They are already 5 stars in my book anyway, but I am pretty sure someone else below wished for a dumpster too so wanted to mention same! . Would be a great addition! Either way it’s still a really nice place to store your stuff.

My wife and i love the place, it have good reasonable space and the staff in kind and courteous and very helpful about the information they gave us, and the price was in our range. So we recommend to all those who will like to have a good quality storage
