Well. Here is my review. This places is a very interesting place to visit. It can get tight depending on where you go. Especially when backing up. Be sure to watch your mirrors and take your time. The guard shack is by where all the flags are. That’s where you want to enter.
This place was awesome to visit. I enjoyed the experience.
Very friendly and helpful management and staff.
It's not a bad place, but it's SUPER tight inside when you're trying to get maneuvered around with a truck. Bring your best backing skills. Also there's NO phone service once you get inside. On the plus side, it's always a constant comfortable temperature inside, and there's ample parking on the outside, along with a truck stop right across the street.
Love this place. Do a lot of business in this cave. They have a lot of space to work in and out of. Great people..love security they are very nice people .
Place is well organized, parking lot outside you walk up to the guard and ask for directions which is the best way to go about this! Don't even think of trying to go inside by yourself If you're not familiar with this place. I unloaded in a couple of companies located here and it was pretty fast,it is a great experience but be careful. It is a super tight place, lots of docks are blindside parking. Good luck!
Cool concept which is why I gave it an extra star, but my issue is they don't allow photography on the outside. I wasn't even taking pictures of the complex, I was taking pictures of a train and happened to be on their side of the tracks. But a security guard rushed up and treated us like criminals. All for doing a hobby then leaving. It's hard to respect that. Edit your photo policy.
One of a life time to deliver inside this place. Not that much room to back up my big rig into their dock but every one was patient enough to help. Cars drivers were very respectful on giving trucks space to move in there. Thank you.
As for a truck drivers opinion. I've been to many underground storage facilities through out this great country of ours. In K.C. area the caves is the best. Subtropolis is not to good, very unorganized, especially if you have to deal with advantage logistics. If you talk to the lady that answers the phone for advantage all she is good for is to direct your call to whatever department and if that department is shipping they will not get back with you. The lady that answers the phone for advantage you might as well cut her tongue out and put her on disability. I'm done wasting my time on this place. It's just not very well run for shipping and receiving.
They were to pay me $150 back for a month not used but never heard back after they promised a refund. Changed owners and not the same transparent group over there. I have moved on due to this, but was planning on coming back to them until this all happened. I did business with them for over 8 years. I got tired on the ceiling dropping on to my airstream.
