My experience at Attune functional medicine is beyond excellent. Dr. Biscoe and Dr. Egland have a true passion for helping patients. They are both extremely knowledgeable with rooting out any health problem you may be experiencing. The new patient questionnaire is quite in depth but it is for good reason, both doctors want to get to the root cause of you symptoms. If you are not willing to put some effort into lifestyle changes and just want a magic pill this is not for you. Full disclosure, I work at Attune Functional Medicine. I was not asked to write this review I wanted to share my story because I am a patient and I’m so proud to work for two amazing doctors that have such a compassion for helping people. I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Egeland and Dr. Biscoe. Their compassionate approach is like no other doctor I've seen. I know this because I’ve worked in the medical field for 20 years. After suffering from intense menstrual cramps for over a year it was time to get to the bottom. I had seen an M.D. that ordered blood work and after finding that my TSH was high she recommended a Paleo diet for three months. We repeated my labs to check for improvement. It had improved, but my thyroid was still out of range. The doctor had me test my iodine levels and it was through the roof. At that point I was given medication. I don’t fault that doctor for wanting to give me medication, that’s what this doctor is familiar/comfortable with. I chose not to take it because I knew there were still underlying issues as to why my TSH and iodine was out of range. I wanted to see and N.D. for a more holistic approach. When I came across Attune’s website I knew I had found the right place! Both doctors had fantastic reviews and they both share their personal health struggles on their bio page. Not only did I find the right office for my own personal health issues, I wanted to be a part of their team! Shortly after I started working at Attune I became a patient of Dr. Egeland’s. I am so appreciative and feel hopeful that the plan we have can really help me! I have already noticed positive changes with the supplements and lifestyle changes she suggested. My TSH is back in normal range and it hasn’t been in over a year. We are still working on the intense cramps. Dr. Egeland is brilliant, I know we will get there. She knows how to get to the root of issues to help people improve their health. You have to put in the effort and have faith to believe you will get better or you aren't setting yourself up heal.

I'm so impressed with Dr. Alison and her staff! She took the time to explain to me my results and answer my many questions. I have never experienced this with a doctor and I would definitely recommend going to her!

With 10 years of battles with stomach issues as well joint pain and depression I can now say these issues are behind me due to Dr. Ashley Biscoe's passion for helping others. The past 10 years I have been in and out of emergency rooms and doctor visits with no real answers on what is going on with my health. Doctors prescribing me medications after medications with no results until my wife did some digging and found Dr. Biscoe. At this point I felt I had nothing to lose. After my first meeting with Dr. Biscoe I actually thought she might be on to something. I never had a doctor spend over an hour with ME, actually listing. So with nothing to lose I started my journey with Dr. Biscoe with an open mind and a commitment to try something new. Well 3 1/2 months later and have lost 30 lbs, free of all pain in my joints and have zero stomach issues and NO depression. To get out of bed in the morning with no joint pain as well no stomach issues is a blessing that is hard to put into words. I am back to living a full life. Oh, and needless to say my wife is thrilled that I can actually do honey dues around that house and yard work now!! Dr. Ashley Biscoe: friendly, compassionate, invested, knowledgeable, organized, detail-oriented, the list goes on. I wasted years slowly gaining breadcrumbs of information on my condition, being put on meds long term that are not good for long term use, and generally treated as an afterthought. I've always searched for the best doctors, but if you have a chronic issue, Western medicine does not appear to be the answer. Dr. Biscoe better understands what is going on in my body, has used far superior diagnostic tools and dedicates far more time to treating me than any traditional MD I've been to over the years. It may be cliche, but she finds and treats the cause, not the symptoms. Also cliche, but absolutely true: she's changed my life for the better.
