I love this place with many healthy choices, the kale & wild rice soup is great, got the fruit, egg, & nuts tray and a chicken Cobb avocado salad with my favorite organic supreme earl grey tea w/honey. I treated myself to a cranberry almond chocolate covered coconut macaroon. Very clean establishment, open 24 hours, convenient for overnight or late night visitors at the hospital. A little pricey, worth every dime. Nice vibe, great location. I won’t be going back to the cafeteria.
This restaurant is located in the Georgia area.. While visiting the patient in the Hospital.. We needed to get a Quick Snack/Lunch.. The sandwich and soup was Delicious.. The food Price's are reasonable..The Potions are Normal.. Customers pay for their items with the Cash or Credit Cards. Microwaves are available for the customer to use.
Always have too wait too long to get served and TO CHECK OUT! This is a hospital so your customer have to get back to work. The guy at the checkout today left me at the checkout and was making a drink for himself and hocking around. He shouts I’ll be right there and carries on joking around. The customer behind me left and his response was “people need to be patient” Unacceptable to waste time for your overpriced products. You need to have staff who respect your customer time.
So Au Bon Pain turned out to be much better than my wife and I expected. I was in Piedmont Hospital for a heart problem and we were both starving. Knowing how bad the cafeteria was we decided to take a chance on ABP. Both sandwiches were fantastic and reasonably priced at ~ $7.50 each. Definitely would eat there again.
After a long stressful day, I chose the chicken noodle soup. It was so delicious and comforting, way better than I've ever made, lol. Next morning I had the egg sandwich and a muffin, both were good. I'm not a coffee gourmet but it was smooth and tasty. Nice place for some basics
This location is actually open 24 hours which is way better than most hospitals who only have prepackaged, vending machine food. After a few days the staff knew my name. After a week, it has become a welcomed departure from the hospital corridors. Although the soup is prepackaged repeats. The staff take their jobs of creating personal masterpieces for their patrons seriously. Try the maple dressing on anything. It is a total salad and sandwiche game changer.
Don’t bother. Don’t waste your time or money here. Staff is poorly trained and food quality reflects this. Over cooked soups, burned oatmeal, brown sugar in rock form, stale baked goods, bitter coffee, and filthy dining area... But wait there’s more! You’ll pay what you would expect to pay for freshly prepared food and receive a subpar meal. Starbucks pricing for coffee that is hit or miss at best; all served up by one overworked, grumpy staff member who is tasked with managing the whole food prep operation - 20 minutes to get a Cafe Latte - Sheesh! Top it all off with a long wait for the cashier and you’ll leave wondering why you chose to come here.
For a place that's open 24 hours a day in a hospital and is good, yep, that gets 5 stars in my book. Made to order hot and cold sandwiches, salads, wide range of soups, cookie, Mukhin's, and list goes on. Want to add something extra on your sandwich, just ask but it will probably cost you more.
The food is pretty good but overpriced, however, for food in a hospital, it's excellent. I'm used to paying nearly as much for lackluster cafeteria food. I'm definitely glad it's there. The brownie bites were delicious.
I don’t come here due to the prices, but was in need of coffee this particular morning. The young lady working wasn’t very welcoming, I said good morning and she didn’t acknowledge me just continued sweeping. Once she finished she asked what I needed and I stated coffee. She said it wasn’t ready give her a few minutes. I clocked in and came back 45 minutes later and she tells me it’s still not ready.
