Audio High

Awesome store, the salesman was so accommodating. He let us play whatever music we wanted on the KEF LS60 and Reference 3 Meta for an hour and a half, and he was never pushy or snobby. When I do eventually decide to purchase a speaker, it will be from Audio High because they were so generous and unpretentious with their audition experience. Highly recommended!

The first time I visited Audio High was on September 24, 2016. It's easy to remember the experience because the welcoming committee, Eugene, was kind beyond my expectations. He welcomed my friend and I into the store -- we were unaware that we were in for some concert quality musical delight! Over the years, the Audio High family has welcomed me in with open arms. Rollie has become a familiar face and friend too : I know that Audio High will help turn my home audio dreams into reality. If you want to receive expert knowledge, meaningful recommendations, along with warm n' fuzzy feels --- this is the place for you too!

Rarely do I take the time to post on-line reviews. Having been a customer at Audio High for over six years, however, a review has been much overdue. From start to finish, this is hands-down the premier audio store in the Peninsula. First, the equipment they offer is first rate. You may never see or hear better equipment in one room again in your life. Some of it you may be able to afford, some of it perhaps not, but it all looks and sounds fantastic. Second, they offer full service home audio and theater installation. I've had several equipment/internet circuitry issues over the years, and they've never failed to diagnose and fix the problem. They have a crack installation crew that reminds me of a special-ops team. Only approachable. Third, and most importantly, Audio High is run by people who are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also go above and beyond what a consumer could reasonably expect from a full-service audio and video store. Most of my many interactions have been with Eugene, who is not only a true audio hobbyist in every sense of the word but also seems to always be there when I need help with an equipment/connectivity problem, product advice, or just a recommendation on which new jazz artist to explore. I've seen him set up multiple combinations of gear for customers to audition for hours without batting an eyelash. He is a great trouble shooter with a seemingly intuitive ability to think like high end audio equipment. If he doesn't have a ready solution, he'll figure it out and get back to you with an answer. He has demonstrated immense patience and thoroughness answering a hundred silly questions from me personally over the years. I've also worked extensively with Michael, the owner of an internationally lauded company, who communicates a genuine interest in his customer, whether it be a famous rock star or movie producer or just a local Bay Area music fan. How often does a business owner go to a customer's home to personally set up a new pair of speakers? Great speakers too. Which pretty much sums up this Bay Area gem: Great products. Great people. Rare combination. If you're in the market for a great audio or home theater system, they're worth checking out.

I have frequented a few hifi audio stores in New York, Boston, and SF areas and I have to say Audio High is the best overall experience I have had in comparison to all other stores. Eugene is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient and do spend sometime talking to him about what you want. He will help you figure out the best solution for your needs. If you are going on a weekend, be ready to wait, a bit as it can get a bit busy.

All I have to say is I wish other businesses had the same service that I was shown here. I am a complete newbie when it comes to audio and was a little intimidated when I first walked in. this is not your local Best Buy store, they know what they are doing and talking about I had a few questions regarding some headphones and Eugene showed me what they had as demos and walked me through what each headphone was "known for" as far as their sound goes. He answered all my questions no matter how stupid I am sure they were and even showed me some amazing speakers. I would easily recommend this shop to anyone.
