My very first time having Auntie Anne's and almost all the options were sold out. I got the pepperoni pretzel which smelled and looked great but unfortunately was so very greasy and I couldn't finish it. I was so very excited to try the other pretzels though but alas it was sold out. Hopefully the next time I try one it will be much better.
I love Auntie Anne pretzels, especially the jalapeno! The one served at this location was covered in a pretty insane amount of cheese and ended up being quite greasy.
They close early and don't have a great attitude. They stopped making pretzels earlier in the night and said they were out of everything except their sweet almond flavor.
I’d like to give 0 stars. I’m a frequent flyer through Charlotte and every time I come to this auntie Anne’s at the plaza by concourse E not the one in the atrium they’re out of the pretzel dogs which is no big deal. Well, today I ordered them, paid for them, and received the wrong item. An item that cost less than what I purchased. They were out of the pretzel dogs and gave me the wrong item so I requested a refund. It took almost 20 minutes to process and I almost missed my flight. As a member of the airlines I wasn’t concerned about missing my flight before this 20 minute ordeal. The worker, Jeff Cunningham, who I believe lied about his name called me ignorant and aggressive for simply speaking up about asking for a refund that was taking far too long. He was mad with me for selling me an item and charging me for it when they didn’t have it. Will still go to auntie Anne’s just never this one or with this worker.
After reading quite a few negative reviews on Google about this particular Aunt Annie's I was concerned with the experiance I'd have. Luckily I decided to try it anyways and I'm here to tell other readers that you can, in fact, have a good pretzel here! It was about 30 minutes before they were set to close and I had reached it just in time to have plenty of choices. The pretzel was right in line with what I'd expect from an Aunt Annie's.
Unfortunately todays generation has the lowest working standards ever and it will only get worse because good employees bairly exist anymore. On the internet, contact Auntie Anne's headquarters and give them your complaint. I have contacted many restaurants and they pass the information to the manager. If we don't complain to HQ, the unethical behavior will continue.
Mika is an excellent worker she remade a drink for me and my buddy that wasent what I wanted or thought and she remade the drinks quickly and with very professional service love this place!!!
I'm from the Carolinas and just arrived at CLT from an international trip. I would hate a visit to this Auntie Anne's location to be anyone's first impression of Charlotte or the US. The cashier was far too concerned about a group of guys sitting at a nearby table. When we finally got to her she was talking to a coworker about the guys and we had to ask her if she was ready to take our order. It felt like we were interrupting her social time by trying to place an order and give them our business. Her pants were hanging down in the back so you could see her underwear. It was all so unprofessional. Also, what Auntie Anne's doesn't have the **original** pretzel. This was around 5:30pm and they only had 3 flavors available. Really disappointed in this experience and that this is the impression people not from here may get of our area.
Without a doubt, I still think this chain has the best pretzels ever. Maybe it’s nostalgia, but they do it right. Location was not busy when I was here in the afternoon, and it was very quick to get my food. Pretzels taste very fresh which is always great. This is a very easy snack whenever I connect in the Charlotte airport.
Spare yourself the frustration especially after a long travel day. While we can all agree Auntie Annes has great pretzels, I would not recommend even trying to order from the Charlotte airport unless you really feel like putting yourself in a mood. The staff would clearly rather be elsewhere, did not greet us, were rude, and unprofessional as we were trying to order. To add, as we are standing at the register another employee is squeezing behind us repeatedly to stock the drinks- which is fine. However, never once could say excuse me and was literally leaning over my husband to put drinks up and was clearly annoyed we were inconveniencing her when we were trying to finish paying our less then pleasant cashier. As often as we travel through here, never again.
