I asked the help desk at the gym to put in a complaint about the shower pressure in the mens locker room. I was told I could complain to AHEC... I think RVs have better water pressure... perhaps 10psi? Also, the shower head in the handicap shower is broken, and there's a bunch of little flying insects sharing the showers. This locker room is only a few years old, but already resembles an old dusty clapped out 24 hour fitness facility. Perhaps you could have left us with the prison showers and kept our light rail passes included in the cost of tuition which increased 30% since pre pandemic. Don't even get me started with how you raised the cost of parking 100%.
It’s great to know you guys let your campus stand for this : week 2 update It’s tacky to “it’s not inline with the mission and values you publicly espouse. Are diversity and inclusion values you live by or just something you say? Will take to the Denver post next thanks for looking
These folks used to be pretty decent. Bur they've gotten exceptionally greedy in the last few years. Constantly hoping rates for less and less service. They removed their two hour parking for one so it's only daily rate. Been a fairly regular parking payer but forget to hit the Kiosk one time, wasn't even there two hours 30 dollar fee and couldn't even be bothered to address my appeal. But if their system glitches your only recourse is to go to another lot or so sorry no refunds. Use public transit if you can.
Was on campus for an event, the Tivoli and Tivoli Quad is beautiful. The crews were hard at work on the lawn. The staff did a great job with the event.
I had my car hit by another person in the garage, they couldn't provide any video footage. Never heard back from them when I requested it months ago. I had to call and follow up. Matters worse? They had the Tivoli parking garage run by real people...it worked great. They removed people and replaced them with pay machines...if you are looking for parking and drive around the garage...you get a ticket in the mail for 33 more dollars!! This is a terribly run company. They wasted money sending me 4 tickets in the mail, and cancelling them because I luckily kept my receipts from parking. They caste system the campus and take care and maintain some buildings better than others. It's a shame.
Very rude customer service. I was misinformed by their office and now I owe a huge fine. After explaining what happened, something that genuinely was out of my control, they still showed no care or regard for my situation and were very rude every time I tried to talk to them. Don’t park with them. There are cheaper lots in the surrounding areas. I’m a student at MSU and I don’t use their lots anymore. City lots are cheaper and just as close and convenient.
These people are the worst! I have worked on the Denver campus and I am alum and it has always been disgusting. The bathrooms are constantly out of toilet paper and soap. The hand sanitizer dispensers keep getting filled with foaming soap. The grounds are not kept safe or clean. The ahec workers on golf carts drive recklessly and in places where vehicles are not allowed. I'm honestly surprised they haven't seriously hurt someone yet. A mismanaged organisation with low standards, just where you want to pay to send your kid to college right?
Home of the only Tri-College University Campus in North America. It's a Historic landmark for Denver and a diverse community. Many of our professionals here in Denver are graduates of one of the colleges at Auraria.
Worst events management of any organization that I've ever dealt with! I like how AHEC made a new listing for themselves to hide their bad ratings! Hence a repost of my review... First off, the lack of professionalism among the employees is appalling. The employees as well as management have zero tact or any kind of human dignity, much less customer service skills. The lack of communication between coordinators and staff on the ground is completely missing. On top of all that, AHEC demands payment for everything at all times - although, I'm not sure what you're paying for. Most damning is that their accounting office seems to reconcile their books only once every six months - so if your are a club on campus, your account could be positive one day, and negative the next with NO NOTICE! Secondly, AHEC parking seems to only care about making money - they provide no services or security. Additionally, AHEC events staff never communicate with parking in regards to waived parking fees for special events, and good luck getting your ticket reversed. I have lived all over the country and dealt with dozens of events crews in all sorts of settings and AHEC wins the award for the worst, most unprofessional, most greedy organization ever! The saddest part of all is there is little hope for this organization due to the weird funding structure of the Auraria Campus...
Dont mess up on parking there and don’t use the faulty parking app... I thought I had paid, the app never went through and I got $30 ticket for a $4 parking lot. I paid after I got the ticket to make things right and appealed the ticket and basically got told to bad. So now they’ll be taking $34 and I’ll never be parking at metro again. Thanks for nothing guys.
