Between my family and I we had a few cars that needed tested and always appreciate what Autozone does to help in any way they can. Today Ryan was the one that helped us and he went above and beyond with our cars. He really was trying to help us get to the bottom of our problems instead of just shooting us answers and setting us on our way and a bonus is that he used to work in a shop! You’re our hero!
I love the Plainfield location, it has the best staff. I was in need of supplies to do an oil change on my car and Rizzo was an amazing help to me because I had no clue what I was doing and he got everything I needed for me and explained how to do it and even offered to do it for me, to which I was great full for and I will never go to another location as long as I’m in this state.
I have been to this location 4 or 5 times in the last couple of weeks and an effort to get my car up and running.. Every last person I've dealt with here has been absolutely amazing! And the next time I need a service, these folks will be the ones I come to see
I went there to purchase a battery. The gentleman that helped me was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I am a Christian and truly believe this was a blessing to my from Christ! When you go to this store please be respectful to these people because they really do good work!
The parts are at a reasonable price for the supply and demand of need it now can't wait 2 days for the delivery. What makes the cost reasonable is most of their parts offer few years or lifetime warranty, unlike online where its 30 to 90 days. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Some more knowledgable then others but if one person doesn't know then someone there knows the answer your looking for. The store manager ryan I think his name is is spot on with his knowledge as well as Rizzo. They seem to know their stuff. Definitely a place to go for parts and if you need a little help figuring something out. Usually if you can't find it or don't know what the part is one of those 2 can help figure it out. They definitely go above and beyond. The Plainfield autozone is the only place my family and friends go for vehicle related parts. Thanks guys for always helping us out.
I bought a code reader but apparently it was not a high enough model to do what I needed. As I was at the counter to return with 5 other people in line the man working asked the female “Manager” about it and she started telling me “loudly” in a rude tone that you can’t return code teasers. I asked why and stated I had read the return policy and it said it was okay to return. After going back and forth a couple times she agreed to return it, however she was going to damage it out because no one would want it now. Mind you it is in the box packaged like new and still has the plastic cover over the screen. I returned it and bought a more expensive unit at advanced auto parts store. She’s costing you money.
On 07/23/2022 I was having some issues with my battery and my car would not start on two different occasions and I couldn't get into the shops or dealership for immediate service. I went in to Autozone in Plainfield, In to have the guys do a battery and alternator check, and the battery came back positive for being bad. With an injured thumb, changing the battery myself would have been a issue especially since the doctor has me on a 10lb weight restriction. Gabele K., was more than willing to help me and he was very professional in removing my old battery and installing a new stronger battery into my car. If you need a new battery or anything else, I'd definitely recommend this young man helping you there at the Plainfield Autozone on East Main Street. -Ray
Parts have bad quality, so if you get it cheaper here, it's because the PARTS ARE LITERALLY MADE CHEAP. Therefore if you install something and it doesn't work, it's likely because the part you purchased from AutoZone is defective Happened to me so many times. Customer service is horrible. They act like they know what they are talking about, but truly do not, also rude... Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, PAY EXTRA, but at least you get a quality part elsewhere, with better service!
Right down the road they're pretty good about helping you find something you're looking for
Like most Auto zones the staff are always willing to help. Even dig a little to find the answer you need. If they don't have something in stock. They have no problem sending you to a competitor, if it something that is a must have now. Car broke down one time and I needed something to get it home. They didn't have it but sent me to a competitor that did because it was something I needed right away, so I wouldn't get towed, costing me more. I thought that was awesome to do.
