I wanted to make over my apartment but it's not really big enough for and I can't afford one of those big interior design firms. So I was glad to find Allison and learn that she got her start with one of those firms. She came over to my apartment in Battery Park and, after taking a quick look around, gave me a lot of helpful design tips to fill the space. She listened to my budget needs and was able to accommodate both my style and budget when picking out furniture. As an interior designer, she has access to great discount prices I would not have been able to get if I had gone shopping myself. She also recommended a great housekeeper I now use every month!

I engaged the Avenue Design Group to design interiors of my new apartment. Among the various aspects of their engagement, some key elements include but were not limited to: •Converting existing floor-plans into scalable blueprint for furniture sizing and spacing •Identifying layout for living and dining rooms •Recommending furniture/design elements for all rooms and sources from where to buy furniture •Guiding with practical advice on retaining existing furniture and/or buying new furniture •Assisting in developing color schemes to complement furniture and choosing paint colors for walls The mother-daughter team blew me away with their passion, knowledge and experience in interior designing. They introduced me to new ideas, taught me how to look at things differently, understood my budget limitations and, most importantly, worked on my home as if it were their own. This unique approach to each aspect of the job is what distinguishes them from other firms. I wholeheartedly recommend ADG to anyone looking for guidance and assistance in designing or renovating their home.
