Azzaam's Soul Food Grill

Didnt know the restaurant changed. But being that it's right across the street from work I figured on having a nice dinner at work. Boy was I FAR from disappointed. The service was kind and welcoming even though they seemed busy. The wait was short, I ordered fried Chicken, the home made mac and cheese, buttered broccoli, and a sticky bun for dessert. As for portion sizes? You wont yo hungry! They couldnt close the container it was stuffed so high. And I'm the kind of guy that makes buffet management cringe..... Azzaam's will be seeing more of me during work hours!

Azzaam's soul grill is a homestyle restaurant run by a neighborhood family , that cooks soul food just like your grandma used to make ... if you're lucky. Just opened up in the former Aprons/ Moes Hot Dogs spot , on the corner of Grays Ferry and Washington Avenue right next to the popular Z Dog pet care facility. Try the daily specials prepared fresh by Malika or one of the delicious , healthy fruit smoothes . Every time I go , they make me feel glad that I came - with a happy, full belly and a nice conversation. Hope this spot becomes a neighborhood favorite - I sure expect to be enjoying the fresh, nutritious cuisine all season .

Finally!!!! Real food!!! Been here several times and my food was always delicious. Taste like a home cooked meal. Not to salty or over spicy! And the potato salad is soooooo good. I'm on a personal mission to taste everything here lol

The food was on point ,the owner and staff was always friendly and professional the dinners I purchased from here I have no complaints I wish this new crew all the best

Terrible service, literally waited an hour for my food meanwhile the employees were maliciously delaying my order.
