I would not recommend. The people were nice but I just wouldn’t again. They aren’t professional movers. It’s cheap labor to be honest. It appears two or three of them knew what they were doing but the rest of the crew seem like high school kids. I rate two stars. What we hired them for was eventually done. Firstly, they were late in arriving for our move. It was scheduled two weeks in advance for 8:30am. The movers did not arrive until after 9:15. We called before 9am to find out where they were and they said they didn’t realize we were pressed for time. When you are hired for a specific time, there is a reason. 8:30 IS 8:30. Not 9:15, not 9:30. The next disappointment in which I was infuriated. We arrive at the house we are moving into. One of the movers had tar/grease on his shoes which he tracked into the house on light carpets. It’s obvious. Up the stairs, down the hallway, into the dining room. It looks horrendous! You would think you have something on your shoes you would not go back into the house and you KNOW it’s you doing the tracking of the tar. What does he do? Goes in and out until they caught him and told him to stay out of the house. Nice after the damage is done. Not even in the house 1 day and fairly new carpeting is ruined. The girl who was handling this moving crew was nice enough to call in to arrangement a carpet cleaner. Unfortunately I had to do a follow up call I didn’t hear from the carpet place as of yet. It may take faith to move mountains, but I have no faith in this company. Consider me an apostate. Edit April 19th : BD made good on their promise. Bayside cleaning arrived today and did a very good job cleaning up the tar that was on the carpet.

Best experience I have had during this crazy time of moving. Tony made me feel comfortable immediately and charged a fair price. Scheduled my move within my time frame. Movers were on-time, professional, courteous and very careful with each piece. Would highly recommend.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company. Very unprofessional. Have been trying to get someone to call us for a month now after our move and nothing. Scratched furniture, missing parts, hole in wall. Tried to charge us $200 an hour for down time between closing. It's hard enough to move in one day you don't need BD movers to make it that much more stressful. Tony was the biggest problem. "Faith can move mountains" yeah right... run and run fast...

I used BD Movers to uncrate and move custom made furniture into the house that was received from Kauai. The 3 movers arrived on time and were both polite and professional. They surveyed the area where the furniture was to be placed. Very carefully and deliberately they removed the crating top and sides. All furniture was brought through the garage, except our bar height table. That had to brought in through the sliding doors at the back of the house on an angle. It was pouring rain so the movers wrapped the entire table in the moving blankets and shrink wrap to protect it from the rain. 2 of the movers walked the table through the rain to the back of the house getting soaked in the process. They never complained or let the rain interfere with their mission to safely bring the table into the house. The 3rd mover helped guide the table through the doors to assure no damage. Once in the house they very carefully removed the shrink wrap and blankets. They treated the furniture with the greatest of care. After all the furniture was moved into the house they cleaned up the garage, removed all the crating and extra moving blankets. I had a terrible experience with another moving company and was very concerned about the handling of this custom furniture. The BD Movers experience was gratifying and unconditional satisfaction. I can highly recommend BD Movers without reservation.

This is the third time we have used BD Movers and each time the team were on time, professional, and very careful with our furnishings. I will use BD again for our next move and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and honest moving company Kevin and Jody Neal
