Feeling hungry? How bao check out these delicious baos!! From savory to sweet, from classic to innovative, these baos were impressive. Besides the vibrant colors the flavors were inspired by popular Asian palettes. We started off with a classic bao filled with cha siu, absolutely delicious. The bao is sooo soft and the crunchy layer on top pairs soo nicely. They are hands down the BEST baos we ever had. The beef bao was filled with minced beef, the cumin and spices were delicious! I thought there was a slight kick to the flavors, my bf thought it wasn’t spicy at all. We got a crispy fried chicken bun, this one was actuallyyy spicy, so if you like your spicy foods, this is a must! Their baos are so soft and fresh. We tried their chicken curry rice bao, this was super flavorful, usually the onigiris I’ve tried outside have more rice than protein, so I was happy to find my rice bao filled with chicken!! The chicken was so tender and the curry was delicious! Their sweet baos were soo good! Like the savory bao, they are super soft with a nice satisfying crunchy top. The fillings were sweet but not tooo sweet, we tried the lava bao, Valentine’s bao, and taro bao. They were all verrryyy delicious, but if I had to pick the winner, it would be the lava bao. We loved the filling, the colors were vibrant too. The starry starry night was so beautiful, and tasted amazing too. The ombre colors are super attractive. We are always down for a good photogenic drink. The rose milk tea was refreshing, if you love the unique fragrant flavors from roses, you should get this milk tea.
I noticed this place in passing. It looked pretty small with only 3 seats, so i'm guessing it is mostly a takeout place. They have a great combo of one tea drink and two bao you have to get the same one and the baos are delicious! The crust on the outside is slightly sweet and the filling on the inside is rich with flavor. A great snack or quick lunch and nice service.
Tried new Bao House, second time for this one. I have tried BBQ pork bun, this is a Tim Ho Wan style, it is good but comparing to Tim Ho Wan, Bao House Bun is smaller and they give 2 Bao for $5.75 while you can get 3 pieces bigger Bao at $6.5 from Tim Ho Wan. Also tried egg Bao, personally it is okay but I like jasmine peach tea, not to sweet and cheese foam is really good.
This is a must-go tea and Bao place! My new favorite store for sure!!! Heard they have their own tea field in Taiwan and they use their own organic tea for the base for all their drinks! The rose milk tea is sooo aromatic, not too sweet like all other bubble tea places, they cook their own rose syrup! Also they bake their BÀO right in front of you in a glassed kitchen, sure it’s good too but I’m too full to have one, but sure will come back to taste them they look sooo good!
Service was great. Place is small but the foods was fast. Only take less than 3 minutes is done. If you're person don't eat too much or not really that hungry. I recommend try BAO
We tried the savoury bao and it was great! The bun was extraordinary, just wish they hadn’t put the sugar coat on it! Tasted so much better when I scraped that off!
Impressed by the taste and quality. Takeout also tastes great thanks to the carefully designed packages.
Holy moly, the vegan fried chicken bao was so realistic!! So happy I found this place. Yay for options
Such a pleasant surprise! This cute little gem sits sunshine-y yellow against the grunge of the area. Sweet little shop with a couple seats at a bar to eat in. A window frames the kitchen to watch as your food is prepared, and the packaging is cute as can be. I got the veggie bao, YUM! Sweet and flaky dough surrounding cooked veggies in a brown sauce.
My coworkers and I grabbed bao for lunch, cashier was super helpful seeing that is was our first time here and offered suggestions. Each order came with 2 in a little cardboard box. Got the baked classic bao and the steamed sole bao for around $12.50 and they were great. The baked savory baos are still on the sweeter side, but can't wait to come back and try one of their milk teas or sweet baos. Theres a bar against the wall to sit but we took it to go.
