Backyard BBQ

Zero stars. Owner is one of the rudest people i have ever come in contact with. Food is mediocre at best. I have met easily a dozen or more people that feel the same. Avoid this place, whiskey creek is better. Or make your own. Save yourself the hassle and utter disappointment this place brings!

Great BBQ! Nice and hot Chile. Love all the sauces but the Bourbon BBQ sauce is the best.

That's the worst "barbeque" I have ever had in my 55yrs on this earth! And overpriced too! Stopped in yesterday (1/25/18) late afternoon. Had the one meat brisket and a half slab. Meat tasted like it was marinated in lighter fluid and no smoke taste at all. Not trying to be mean, but was very unhappy with what I paid for especially after reading the reviews which is very surprising. Maybe you just had an off night.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Brookings, but I'm disappointed every time I go in there now. The prices keep rising and the food keeps shrinking. It's $14 for a mediocre portion of wings and chips. They are constantly out of food, and they close at 7:30. Pretty unimpressive overall, and a bummer for a place that used to have the best food in Brookings.

Really good barbeque. Best baked beans I've had in a long time. Could use more than three sauce options but very tender ribs and awesome corn bread.
