Sonic Drive-In

Went by to get a drink during happy hour, pushed the button, and it took 20 minutes to even see one come out the door to different car than mine. When I politely went to ask what the deal was, the (I assume manager) rudely informed me that there was only one person taking orders inside and I was just going to have to deal with it. After another ten minutes (for a total of 30 at this point), I moved to the drive thru line because it was moving and orders weren't being taken at stalls. The manager then approached my car to tell me it was going to take just as long and my moving was pointless. At this point I was finally rude back because I was tired of the bad attitude. I used to work for a sonic, and even at our busiest never did we have customers wait for over half an hour, much less be rude to them for asking about the wait. I understand being short handed, but it's not my fault you are short handed, and as the manager if you know that the lines aren't moving you should be the one taking orders to help things move along faster.

Decent food, we had a big order and the staff was very patient and still detailed. We didn't get shorted food, we actually got some extra stuff. Slushies are still the best

I used to like Sonic, but it only took one bad experience to kill it for me forever. The breakfast burrito I got was just gross and it leaked all over my car. The soda tasted like cleaner and I had to throw that out as well. The mozzarella sticks and chicken strips are pretty good. But there are better places in Sioux Falls to eat.

Sonic is just flat out good. They have great food for decent prices and they have a wide variety of things to choose from. You can get hot dogs to shakes. Me and my friends go every week or so because it is consistently satisfying.
