Nice clothing. Nice staff. Expensive in my opinion. I was very lucky I found a neck tie on sale. A smaller offering than I remember historically. It felt more like a boutique experience.

I still love shopping in person and Banana Republic in the uptown mall is a great place to do just that. We great promotions and beautiful clothing, I was able to take care of a lot of holiday shopping!

I have been a long time customer of Banana Republic in Scottsdale for years. This morning in went into the Abq Uptown location. Every September/October i purchase 8-10 pieces to add to my BR collection. Not once in 15 minutes did i see a sales associate. When i finally did, i was not acknowledged. I did find a great inventory of clothes my size, however i will wait and make those purchases next week in Scottsdale. This shopping experience is a first for me at ANY Banana Republic. A modicum of service would have suited my expectation.

The pattern drafting for this brand has gone down hill. Awkward cuts. No lining in slacks, everything is polyester. This location is clean and the service is welcoming.

Tidy, friendly service, good finds. The atmosphere is calm, they started a fitting room for me and made sure I was doing well, but weren’t pushy at all. There are a lot of repeat designs with identical fabric, which I have mixed feelings about. But overall I like the quality and design of the pieces here.

I went to buy my fav cologne there. Wasn’t greeted, wasn’t asked if we needed any help from front to back. Looked at a number of garments. Finally made it to the back and asked where the cologne was. Worker said “yeah it’s up there on the wall”. I looked and noticed it was perfume. I wasn’t looking for perfume. I had to tell him to tell me where the cologne was. Strange service, and I love banana republic. Disappointed.

This used to be my go to for dress and causal clothes but the selection has really been lacking and the fits are very limited. Now the store hours are just ridiculous… you almost have to be unemployed to be able to shop during their open times. I rushed over after work today only to find that they close at 6pm every day… You would think the goal would be to have hours when people can and are more likely to shop… that must not be the goal for this store. Not even reasonable hours on the weekends. I don’t see this store lasting much longer at this point.

I generally like the styles and the price/quality value at BR. I decided to write this review just in case customers were basing their opinions of all of BR on the basis of the in-store experience at this location. In the 4 years that I lived in the Albuquerque area, I regularly visited this store and I cannot think of one time that I was offered assistance in the dressing room. Several times I left without trying on a different size in something I liked because I didn’t want to bother with redressing to get a different size for myself. This is not typical of the BR stores that I have visited at other locations and I would recommend grabbing two sizes of anything you try on if you tend to run between sizes.
