Bancroft Elementary School

I liked that school because of the teachers, not the way some kids mocked me about my height. But I still didn't forget about the teachers I had there like for example, Ms. Alcalde😊

I attended Bancroft in the early 80's, played on the basketball team, enjoyed the Rock Creek Park area behind the school. I lived on Ingleside,so Bancroft playground was where I learned how to play basketball and kickball, even baseball. I was even a crossing guard at one point. I remember Mrs. Miller, and Mrs. Robinson. They open an addition to the school while I was there which was cool. I'm living in San Diego now, but when I return I always bring my kids by the school and tell them my old stories about BANCROFT.....Nando

I attended Bancroft in the 60's from the principal down everyone was n to u getting ur lessons I tell my children and grandchildren about all my school's n DC I now live n atlanta
