If you ever need to call this bank you’ll be on hold for half an hour minimum. If you need to transfer after that it’s going to be another hour. None of the workers communicate with each other. I had my auto-loan with this bank, and it took me over six weeks to get my title when I paid off the loan. This was described to me as being “expedited”. I was no longer in country by the time they got it. The other employees claimed they never heard of the employ who had closed out my loan. Nathan, who closed my loan, emailed me on one occasion and never returned a reply. Absolute worse experience I’ve ever had with a bank.
I've had a few minor issues in the past but today I had a good experience. Had a lot of parking and easy parking is a plus for here in Hawaii. When I went to open up a savings account and change my previous accounts to JR Arhlene was friendly, professional, patient, and made the process a lot smoother then I thought it would be!
Trying to make a deposit for my father who's over 60years old and unable to do so. Not infected with COVID-19 yet I still have to wait because they'reonly servicing people who are over 60 years old?!?
What terrible customer service. They say no to helping a customer every chance they get. They claim to offer notary services but won’t be able to do that . They do not go the extra mile for any customers they don’t believe in customer service and I feel swindled to if ever banked with them .
Bank of "Not My Problem". They. Will. NEVER answer their phone once you're put on hold. They have made getting a new title an absolute nightmare. Incredibly hard to work with.
I recently went through the process of applying for a mortgage loan with the Bank of Hawaii. While the process in general is tedious, agent Destenie Turner, helped me tremendously. I was a first timer and didn't know what to expect but she was there every step of the way. Mahalo!!
Hours say open at 8am, but doesn’t not say or clarify that they open at 8am for seniors only…
The bank teller tried to short us $100 when we went in to cash a check & when I went back in she knew exactly how much I needed without me even saying it...gotta watch out for these tellers tryna be slick!
It is impossible to speak with someone over the phone. I waited for a callback for 30 minutes just to be put on hold again for another 30 minutes for another department. It felt like them waiting for me to just hang up.
