Food was delicious and different. Charming little place downtown. Would be nice if the parking situation were better, but that's downtown for you. I had the ricotta hotcakes and they were fantastic. Then I had a chocolate croissant and it was also delicious. My wife had some kind of fritters, maybe zucchini fritters, and said they were wonderful. Great little place. I'm glad we found it. I would highly recommend it.
This little eclectic restaurant has a variety of brunch and lunch options. gluten-free options. Very friendly and offered great suggestions. Wife has the corn fritters which she enjoyed. She also enjoyed the orange poppy seed cake. The Australian pie and quiches were very tasty but a little small. Dietary restrictions: They have Gluten free options
I love the fresh delicious meal options here. The salad and black beans and zucchini fritter platter was very delicious. I love their coffee as well, it’s always made just the way I like it but my favourite item here is the chocolate lamington.
Cute little Aussie brekkie and brunch spot. They have both inside and outside seating. You order first, then take your number to your table of choice. The staff is super friendly and accommodating if you have questions about the menu. The mimosas, especially the guava was a great start to the day. I never had biscuits and gravy this and whoa was it so good. The gravy was so creamy with bits of biscuits and sausages mixed in it. So flavorful too. The breakfast burrito is very big with eggs, jalapeños, potatoes, spinach, and bacon in it. It is more than fulfilling. Highly recommend stopping by.
Great local spot! For my first visit, I asked the very friendly woman behind the counter for suggestions - and she had some great ones. I went with the Corned Beef sandwich with - get this - pickled watermelon. Verdict is in - I don’t know why we haven’t ALWAYS put pickled watermelon on Reuben sandwiches. Hands down best Reuben I’ve had, and it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve had - period. I’m a 26 year restaurant industry vet, and I’m way too particular about all things restaurant. I’ll definitely be back to Banksia soon to check out another unique selection. Great work, Banksia! You’re doing it the right way.
Absolutely the best breakfast we have EVER had! Pancakes take 20 mins to make as each batch is hand made from scratch but absolutely well worth the wait. My wife and I split them along with the breakfast burrito and they both were amazing! Clean place and friendly staff...highly highly recommend!
Meat roll was spiced just right and flavorful. The flourless cake was surprisingly delicious and went well with the tea. I enjoyed the atmosphere there and the ease of finding a comfortable place to sit to dine. Will have to come back to explore the other items.

Great and chill brunch spot. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a lavender latte. The biscuits and gravy were a large portion and tasted amazing - probably the best biscuits and gravy I've had. The chai latte also tasted great and satisfied my craving for it. Overall, great service and food to enjoy with a group of friends.
Delightful lunch! Flavorful sandwich, rich bread, and bright dressing on the salad. I will return to try the pastries! Cute shop decorated in paper cranes during my visit. How magical! Lots of seating, fast and friendly service.Dine in: Yes
