Bar Dupont

Bartender friendly, drinks good, ambiance nice, location great. Cheese board mediocre $40, should have balance of sweet to savory; had 5 grapes and 30 slices of meat. Could use a handful more thought. I’d come back for bartender and ambiance, not much else.

My friend and I just tried this bar for the first time, and we had a great time! It's beautifully decorated and lots of windows give a great view of Dupont Circle. Service was fast, and the food and cocktails were delicious. Food + drinks are on the pricier side, but the experience was worth the splurge for us.

First, let me start by saying WOW! When I first walked into this place, I felt as if I had stepped on a 70's film set. The decor, the music, the cutlery, AMAZING! Secondly, the service from the moment I walked in made me feel as if I was just going downstairs to my living room with some friends. The staff were all so friendly and professional, but not too uptight as to make you feel uncomfortable. I'm no white-collar professional, so it's good to get a little of both. They were very polite in asking for our vaccination cards, and even made a joke to make the request more fun. Thirdly, the general manager Hicham stopped at my table and checked on me and my guest to ensure we were having a great time. Even when he was running around doing 3 jobs at once, he never made us feel like asking a question would inconvenience him. STELLAR! Finally, my guest who was my brother absolutely loves bourbon. So naturally, he ordered a manhattan. His reaction was priceless. He could literally taste every ingredient, equally balanced. Needless to say he ordered a few more. I'm not a big drinker, so I naturally gravitated to the food. Good lord. The quinoa salad with feta and chicken was outstanding. So fresh and so clean! If you've gotten this far, congratulations. PLEASE pay this place a visit.

Nice chill vibe, with a decently curated spirits menu. Wine list leaves something to be desired and the service could have been better. But overall it's always a reliable and relaxing choice to grab a nice drink.

Love the ambiance, classy service, and friendly staff! The dapper manager checked on us multiple times and made sure we had a great time. Bao and drinks were très magnifique!

Great service, great cocktails, food menu has enough items to please any taste. Staff are very friendly - Andres and Franklin. Julian the GM walks around and check in patrons himself. I personally had the most delicious cocktail in my life at Doyle. It’s the best spot for all kind of occasions from first date, to birthday diners, cocktail hours.. The elegance and cleanliness make this bar my favorite in the city too.

One of my favorite places in dc. I absolutely love the cocktails, the staff is amazing and very attentive. Last time I went there, one of the managers was helping me, I think his name was Julian, really nice guy he made me a delicious drink, my friend ended up getting the same thing. Food was also delicious, Can't wait to go back!!!

The new Doyle inside the Dupont Circle Hotel is now an exceptional bar and lounge right on Dupont Circle. Relatively recently updated and reinvented, the space is warm and inviting, appointed with design-inspiring furnishings and finishes. The service is good and the view is even better. It's a great place to come in, enjoy a drink or meal, and soak in the ambience.

Overall a disappointment. Not really sure why this restaurant has over 3 stars… Considering the price and location, I wouldn’t expect to receive the same level of service as you would at a McDonalds at 2am. The drinks were pretty good but its a shame it took 20 minutes to get to my table and then I couldn’t order another since no server could be bothered to even check on us. The food was mediocre… I don’t understand why we were waiting over 1.5 hours for a BLT? Only after I asked about my food to the manager did my server even show her face.. Overall, really bad experience. I wanted to like this place but I will not be recommending to anyone. The only thing worth seeing is the cute decor
