Wings with their in house orange sauce is spot on and tasted really good. We tried chicken tawook w/rice, chicken was juicy and spiced well. The shawarma was saucy and fries were crispy. The reason for the 4star is the burger. We didn’t like the burger, the patty was well done, tasted mediocre, the coleslaw was making the burger sweet. Really like the overall fusion concept of this restaurant but they really need to work on their burgers.
Food is good- it is supposed to be Mediterranean restaurant the people who are working have no clue what they are doing obviously they don’t know the Arab food and the get confused of the order’s names plus، they don’t know how to deal with customers. The place is under construction so maybe that’s why they are like this., We also had a big order. Only one plate came to us with a bitten falafel piece underneath our liver sandwich!!! Otherwise everything was edible!
I went to Barbar when I visited Houston, and it was amazing. I had the chicken plate and the hamburger. Both were simply mouthwatering! The secret sauce with the chicken plate and the juiciness of the burger made my visit memorable. It’s a must try!
I was visiting town google it this place online pictures looking good i give it try. Very disappointed place is dirty not presentable very poor set up they focused food pictures looks good but funny taste . Cinnamon on chicken sandwich? Place can be well organized food around here low end.
The best Lebanese food in town Great service Priced well Feels like eating in Beirut Make sure u order barbar special sauce
Recommend! Love the food there. My favorite dishes are the escalope, fajita, burger, wings and not to mention the grilled kabobs. If you’ve never had Lebanese sandwiches, you’ll never find a better place other than Barbar. The only thing I would mention is to call ahead of time to make sure they are open and have what you need.
This place is incredible. This place has perfected grilled chicken. Always looking for ways to improve and it shows in his amazing food. If you’re ever driving by, make sure you give them a try!
The ‘shawerma’ isn’t authentic shawerma, its just chicken grilled and it didn’t have a smokey flavor as it was claimed it would.
One of the top spots in Houston for Mediterranean food, and I mean the top.Recommended dishesArayes Kafta, Grilled Chicken Platter
Good luck paying $4 for each drink including typical bottle of coke and yogurt drink. They even overcharged me for chic shawarma. Just a typical taste nothing special but you pay airport price.
