Since moving to Baltimore, I've always loved going to Barcocina for both the food, experience, and location. We decided to book our rehearsal dinner and welcome event here and it exceeded our expectations. We had the entire back room, tons of food, the staff was incredible, and had a great time. I've come to Barcocina for brunch, lunch, dinner, and a night out - it never disappoints. I don't usually write reviews but they definitely deserve it :
Definitely must go place! The foods, ambience and the location is perfect for a great time! Drinks can be better. The chicken Peruvian tacos are the best but they keep going on and off the menu. Maybe it's a seasonal thing for the restaurant. Always a favorite place to go to !
Great location by the water and the restaurant is well done. Missed the happy hour but they have a good selection of beers on tap. Food was very pricey and $11 for guacamole seems a bit too much. No vegan options. The bartender was friendly and efficient.
Tried out Barcocina for the first time for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint!! Make sure you grab the elotes dip to start, it was so good we had to order more. You absolutely can't go wrong with the tacos, they have a great variety and they are all incredible! Miguel was a great server and kept the drinks flowing for us . bottomless mimosas are only on the weekdays but regular drinks here are strong/cheap We will definitely be back!
Walked the Baltimore inner harbor and then had a lovely dinner at Barcocina! There is a wait if you don’t make reservations ahead of time but its a perfect amount of time to grab drinks at the bar. The margarita en fuego spicy house margarita was absolutely fantastic! We had the Korean beef tacos and blackened rockfish tacos for dinner and both were delicious! The outdoor patios and seating areas are perfect in the summer. Totally recommend this restaurant the next time you find yourself in Baltimore or in the Fells point area!!
Barcocina is such a vibe. Right on the water, this place is great for any occasion. We went to this restaurant 3 days in a row because we so much enjoyed ourselves! Pictures are in order from best to worst plates and tacos. The shrimp pasta was amazing and so is the calamari. Their best tacos are definitely the roasted brisket and Peruvian chicken. Skip out on the charred steak ours was bland and very tough, even tho it was medium rare and the kung pao shrimp tacos are a hard pass overcooked shrimp. Overall an incredible place to dine!
Great food and drinks. The Bang bang cauliflower tacos and smoked Korean BBQ are a must try!! The staff is very friendly And courteous. Perfect place for outdoor dining when the weather's good. The outdoor sitting is right by the water and has one of the best views in the city! Highly recommended x Vegetarian options: The bang bang cauliflower tacos are one of the best I've ever had! Parking: Lots of street parking available around fells point in general and there's an open parking lot right behind the restaurant. Parking might be a bit tricky to find on weekends tho.
I love this place. I stopped by with a friend from high school. The food is always good the atmosphere is superb. This time I met Justin…the best server ever. If the food wasn’t calling me back it’s him and his superb service. Kudos Justin you are the best!!
The hostess weren't friendly at all. It was a perfect spring day on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. We asked about a table outside under the awning and got a rude response from both hostesses. We ended up sitting outside and that was nice since the weather was perfect. They only have tables of 4 so they added a seat to the end of the table for our 5th person. That was kind of weird. The waiter made up for all of the craziness dealing with the seating. The menu was all brunch food which was interesting sent not expected for a Friday afternoon. The hash browns tacos were delicious. I would go back.
The place is pretty exceptional! Found by accident and half reccommend by one of the hotel staff we were staying at. Would absolutely eat here again! Everything was freshly made and the spicy margarita was actually spicy, which is what I like. Make a reservation or prepare to wait for a bit.Food: 5/5
