Great place! Loved the atmosphere and food. Staff was very friendly. Ordered the crabby pizza. It was amazing! Also tried the fried green tomato appetizer. Friends ordered the crab cakes and fish tacos. Everyone enjoyed the food. It is a little loud its a tavern so if you don't like a loud environment I would go elsewhere. Definitely worth the food though!
I used to work for the Kooper's Restaurant Group for over 4 years and have nothing but great things to say! The food is always amazing and I miss getting a chance to eat there every day! They change the menu up a bit every several months or so which is great and even after all that time I never got tired of eating the food day after day. The bar has a great vibe and I like to think some pretty great bartenders and servers. They usually have weekly specials and even more offerings for special events like Oyster Fest, Mardi Gras & St. Patty's Day, as well as for football, baseball and soccer games. The only reason I even left working there was to start my own bar come check it out at Whitehall Mill! or else I would probably have been a Kooper's employee forever.... But I'm happy to be a fan and extremely satisfied customer for life instead! And yes, these are all actual pictures of the food that I personally took while working there... It tastes every bit as good as it looks!
Good food. Enjoyed the crab cake with old bay chips. The lamb burger was pretty tasty and well cooked, but a bit on the greasy side. Our server was not very good, took almost 20 minutes to get a glass of water. Overall a nice meal on the patio.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
So I gotta say that this place was very underwhelming. We came in a group of 8….waitress didn’t ask if we wanted it separate or together. She assumed together. Then our nachos we…well…just not right. The chips tasted weird. Not really sure what was wrong just not right. My crab patty sandwich was ok. It wasn’t the worst or the best. Kind of middle of the road. One in my group sent her food away her nachos but the waitress never asked what was wrong or if my friend wanted anything else. Just took them. Still charged for them. Then when we split the bill by using different cards still one single bill cause she wouldn’t split it up to what we ordered one in my group saw her complaining to another person. I gave the second star cause I really enjoyed the environment many and one for the ok sandwich. Go if you want to try it. If not, I don’t think you’ll miss a lot. There is so much more in the area to enjoy.
Great experience! The food was delicious and the patio is dog friendly. We got the lamb burger and upgraded the side to a side salad, and it was a lot of food! Absolutely delicious. Would come back again.
We were looking for a place to eat in Fells Point on a Saturday night and were able to get seated here right away. They have an expansive outdoor seating area and there were a lot of people out and about. After getting seated and looking at the menu, there are lots of tempting options. I ultimately decided on the scallop risotto, while my wife went with The Doc pizza. The risotto was creamy and tasty, while the scallops were soft and melted in my mouth. The pizza was cheesy and saucy. My only wish would be for the garlic to come through more, but I'm a full bulb kinda person. This looked like a great place to watch sports.
Good location right off the Fells Point water taxi route. Indoors was limited space but the outdoor seating under the canvas canopy was plentiful. Burgers were cooked to specfications without issue. Shuckable Oysters on the sidewalk for a buck. Sadly, the beers were served warm either do to a tank system issue or the slow server.
The staff were friendly, the view was great, parking in the same street, the drinks were good and so was the food. I would recommend this place especially for any day travelers. They had both regulars and new customers.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Good was pretty good. I thought the famous gumbo had entirely too much seasoning. It tasted like chili....just not my preference for gumbo. The blackened Ahi tacos were really good but again not amazing.
Was looking for burgers near by and found this place. Didn't disappoint. We tried their Ronan and Baja burgers from the menu. Ronan had a moist angus patty and Baja is more like a wrap than a burger. Both served with old bay chips. Also would recommend their Kooper's special yellow lab lager if you like beer. It was light and crisp. On top of it all the atmosphere was great and people were really nice. A great little place for a date may be.
