Loved the variety of espresso they had available for drinks. Plus the staff was so kind and helpful.
Fantastic atmosphere, customer service, and talent. The inside was clean and well designed. Relaxing music and the customer service was beyond what you would think. The coffee was terrific. The talent was proven in the taste. Unlike many coffee companies, this location keeps to a more traditional coffee size and sugar level. Watching the coffee being made was a mix of a chemist, an upscale bartender, and that guy that stands at the front desk of the hotel in John Wick. Unique skill, measuring every drop of grain to a perfect recipe and in a very timely manner keeping an extensive line moving. I will be making this a stop as best I can!
The coffee is always consistent! Never had a coffee I didn’t like. The valhrona mocha is delicious and the americano is just perfect every time. The pastries usually are the same and include muffins and croissants. I like when they sometimes carry donuts. The seating is limited but good for small group hang outs or seating outside to read a book!
Lovely atmosphere and great coffee. One of my favourite areas in Portland too.
The staff here is so nice! He makes us a cutie latte milk foam, and the latte is so good. Highly recommended!
Great shot of espresso. And you get to pick from three beans of the day. Always a good sign.
One of the solid espresso places of Portland, meaning that it is consistently good quality, with excellent offerings of varietals, across all locations and at all times. Probably a little too busy to plan to sit in for long, as there are not always seats available although this location is less crowded than others. But for a quick pop in to drink a shot of espresso, you can't go wrong.
Very cozy coffee shop. Their coffee was aromatic and tasty.
Latte was fine, staff were a bit rude. I wanted to buy a bag of coffee to take home, but was told the larger bags of coffee beans that were on the retail shelves were not actually for sale. I think it's a pretty poor choice to place your businesses backstock onto retail shelves and not mark in any way that they aren't for sale. Especially if your employees will be pretty condescending when telling customers that. Just generally unimpressed.
Had Pain au Chocolat and a dirty chai latte. Both were great and the baristas were really nice. There’s free wifi and a nice environment for work/study but not a lot of outlets if you need a charger.
