Barking Hound Village
"Our first location – conveniently nicknamed “the Village” – sits on the edge of the Morningside neighborhood and is an urban oasis for Atlanta’s most active dogs. In operation since 1999, this dog daycare location has become a staple on the Cheshire Bridge / Piedmont Road corridor.Three large outdoor yards and an indoor play area at the “Athletic Club” means that dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome. We offer a wide variety of boarding options, ranging from the more social, standard enclosures to luxury private suites. Be sure to check out our daycare packages to save some money once your dog falls in love with us!"

I’m very disappointed in my grooming services today. My dog still has crust in her eyes, dirt around her mouth her paws are still quite brown. I took her back so they could fix it and there is barely a difference. They don’t have the manager’s number so I’m having to call corporate and complain. This was not worth no $65 AT ALL!!!
I have taken my dog here for years. They have a very friendly, kind, and caring staff. As my dog gets older, I trust and know that he is in good hands and I appreciate that they look out for him.
This place is actually abusing animals. My girlfriend's friend left her small dog here. The dog came back with multiple cuts and was bleeding all over. When She asked what happened, She was told nothing happened and the dog was perfectly fine when that clearly wasn't the case. Read the other one star reviews. They need to be shut down. I have pictures. My girlfriend tried to post the pictures but for some reason it wasn't letting her.
I’ve been taking my dog Petunia here for about 6 months, and it is so nice to have somewhere to take her with people who love her and take excellent care of her. She is always so happy to go and play with her friends and get some love from the staff.
We have been taking our dog 60lb Catahoula here since September of last year. You can tell they really care about your pets. My pup always comes home happy and tired from playing with friends!
Our boys LOVE this place!!! Staff members are GREAT, and they really care for all their guests and their owners. Highly recommend!
From the first temperament day months and months ago until recently, the staff have always been warm and welcoming. My pup absolutely loves coming here and always has a blast with the other dogs AND the staff. Highly recommend them! I love being able to watch him play on the cameras and receiving the report cards in my email. Also, shoutout to how patient the staff were with me on my first time leaving him overnight, I was worried and called a few times and everyone that answered the phone was pleasant and accommodating!
I have taken my puppy here twice- once for a temperament test and again for a four-day boarding stay at BHV. I didn’t care for how the dogs were boarded- separated by size but kept in crates in large areas. I didn’t care for the play areas - There are only two outdoor play areas with one camera at each area. there are no indoor play areas. I asked that my puppy who was teething at the time be given one of the small safe chew or a treats I packed for him while in his crate and they said absolutely they would and yet I got his bag and all the treats were still in the bag. I didn’t feel like the staff was very warm or friendly- when I dropped Arlo off they didn’t greet him or make him feel comfortable by saying hello before grabbing his leash. I didn’t see the staff interacting with the dogs much on the cameras, but again there are only two and they essentially show the same vantage point as the play areas are side by side. he didn’t seem to get any personal attention or any care that was over a basic shelter, food and water kind of place. I won’t be bringing my dog back here.
