We watched the play waitress here and it was fantastic! Would highly recommend! We had great seats and we were impressed with the staff enforcing covid policies and safety protocols.
Barrymore theater is a beautiful historic theatre. We watched the piano lesson here. This theater has good views even from the rear seats of the orchestra
Enjoyed everything about my visit here. Friendly staff Ms. Debbie was a joy. Very professional and detailed. Cast was a pleasant hoy to watch. I suggest everyone to visit at least once in their lives...
Came here to see the new production Paradise square, it’s not the first show I see in this theater, it’s a nice theater that the views are pretty good in most seats If you like a good feel good story and enjoy a lot of dance , you need to check it out. Also have a lot of Irish dance in the show, very entertaining. The vocals from all the casts are super.
Thrilled that we were able to watch another fantastic Broadway show and our first after the pandemic. The Waitress was absolutely one of the best shows I have watched. Looks like it will not be on Broadway for much longer so definitely go watch it if you can!!
The Piano Lesson is an extraordinary production featuring a cast of #BlackExcellence. Danielle Brooks was spellbinding in her role as Berniece. And that John David Washington as Boy Willie... Simply superb! His acting, passion, and fire reminded me of his father when he was younger. I expect great things from him to come. An absolute must-see! I highly recommend everyone in the NY metro tri-state area to see it before it leaves Broadway.
A beautiful theater, polite and helpful staff plus an incredible show = amazing experience. Paradise Square is truly a transformative work of art that moves you and heals your soul.
Michelle and George provided me with excellent customer service. Best seats and worth every price are in the orchestra. Also have sat in the rear mezzanine in the past, and found it to be unbearable, zero leg room and very narrow seats - which means you are sitting incredible close to the guest next to you. Orchestra is way to go! Great clean theater! Beautiful.
I visited NYC last week. My friend and I had bought tickets for the matinee to see "The Piano Lesson" starring Samuel L Jackson & John David Washington. I've seen this play several times both in the theater and on Film, it never disappoints. With LaTanya Richardson's directing, it was excellent. The cast and the set design were so wonderful and worth the price of admission, parking and dinner afterwards. My friend lives in Brooklyn and hadn't ventured into Manhattan since March, 2020 - she was so glad to return for August Wilson's play
Such a beautiful theater! Orchestra seats dead center were amazing. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms nice bar. They logistical setup for intermission bathroom and bar break was perfect. The line moved very fast. The staff, the performance and overall theater owes me NOTHING! Will definitely be returning for another show when I'm back in the city.
