We saw Frankie Valli’s concert last Thursday night. The concert was great fun, and it was surprising how many younger people enjoyed his music. Toward the end everyone was standing and dancing to the nostalgic songs.
Bass Concert Hall is a great venue!

Great shows come through here, and the facilities are nice even though perhaps a bit dated. However, the valet parking line was not clearly marked and created a huge traffic jam on the road for those of us trying to get to garage self-parking, without any clear way to get around it. This should have been posted at the intersection with Dean Keaton because despite getting to campus early for the show, we ended up missing the first scene because of this backup which really is not acceptable and should not have been an issue in the first place.

Decent viewing location for traveling shows. Sound was crazy loud and views can easily be obscured the further back you sit, especially from the mezzanine seats. If you want a full view of the stage I would recommend lower level seating or front row mezzanine. Avoid the sound box seats as it is not blocked off and can be distracting.

Great shows but it's not an intimate space. Seats are too far away from the stage to feel absorbed in the show. We cancelled our Broadway in Austin tickets despite Hamilton coming. The Long Center is preferable to Bass.

Beautiful concert hall located conveniently on the UT Austin campus. Parking can be a point of stress, so arrive early. The staff was friendly and helpful when I lost my car keys in the venue. Can’t wait to return for another show!
