Bates and Brown Barber Chair

I had always seen this place going to micro center. I always assumed that it was a restaurant of some sort. Went to micro center again after leaving I decided I wanted a haircut and looked up places to get a haircut. Low and behold this place showed up 450 ft away. Upon pulling up I was absolutely wowed by the front doors as they were solid wood the entrance way smelled heavily of cedar which I absolutely love. Walking through the second set of doors. Your senses are overwhelmed by the smells of an old style barbershop. Cedar oak old repurposed leather furniture absolutely beautiful interior. The service was amazing greeted immediately at the front desk. Offered to see if they had open availabilities right there which they did not but they got me in at a decent time a couple hours later. The service was absolutely wonderful barbers with multiple years experience an old style hot towel treatment shoulder and scalp massages available. Along with a massage parlor in the back which is an absolutely beautiful room. Upon sitting down in The barbers chair I was offered something to drink which I respectfully declined so I cannot tell you what they have. They offer a multitude of different types of facial grooming from beard trims to straight razor shave. An absolutely wonderful experience all the way around definitely a five-star establishment for anybody that wants an old style barber experience and not just getting your haircut. I do personally recommend that you ask for John going in that man has decades of experience.

I've passed by Bates & Brown many times in the past few years. During the pandemic, I just let my hair grow out. When I was ready to chop it all off, I decided to give Bates & Brown a try. They did not disappoint. Scheduling online was easy. When I arrived, I was greeted, offered a drink I accepted! and shown to a chair. John was fantastic. I walked in with a ponytail and out with a razor-cut, stylish head of hair. The hot towels, shoulder massage and drink were all superb additions to the well-crafted style I ended up with. I'll be returning on the regular so he can keep me looking good. Wrap up and payment were painless. I highly recommend going here for your styling needs.Service: Haircut

I've gone to Bates and Brown for over a year now... Wendy is a phenomenal receptionist who remembers everyone and keeps tabs on you. I came in for a walk in appointment today, and she instantly asked about something that was coming up after my last appointment. She cares for all of the patrons that come through. Since it was a walk in appointment, I asked for whoever was available at the time slot that I requested and I got paired with Tiffany... Without exaggeration, she gave me the BEST haircut/beard trim that I have ever received. I'm writing this review only 90 minutes after receiving this phenomenal service and I've already been complimented 20+ times some people multiple times because it's that good 11/10 recommend Wendy/Tiffany for your next haircut and/or beard trim... When I moved to Columbus a few months ago, I was worried about finding a place for my hair. Bates and Brown was the first & last place I will be trying! Marisa is phenomenal at her job and she makes every visit a fun experience. This girl deserves a raise! 10/10
