Bawarchi Biryanis - Columbus

An authentic and delicious restaurant! It has become one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Columbus. Their lunch combo had a large size and an amazing taste with various things, such as curry and dessert. The curry tasted a little spicy but I liked it. The mango rice pudding tasted so good. The service was excellent and WiFi was available. Vegetarian options: Veg curry

I honestly don’t agree with the low 3.9 overall rating this restaurant has as of May of 2024. I found the staff to be friendly and responsive, the atmosphere to be interesting, and the food to be exquisitely delicious and flavorful. I have an extremely diverse palette and don’t shy away from practically anything. I can’t wait to work my way through the rest of their menu.

Always delicious and portions bountiful for family and friends! Visited here multiple times, and my favorite thing as of lately has been the Mandi biryani, as it’s a full platter that features different varieties of food on top of delicious biryani. Personally, I enjoyed the vegetarian one more so than the chicken because I found some of the chicken to be a bit dry, but nevertheless spicy and flavorful. FYI, despite a serving size saying 2, it could definitely feed 4! The atmosphere is ok, often I’ve found it to be loud because of other families but that aside, service is very kind.

Yesterday I had visited Bawarchi and tried their special Chicken Mandi which is absolutely delicious and deserves a solid 5-star rating. The dish is a flavorful journey from the first bite to the last. The tender chicken pairs perfectly with the fragrant rice, creating a delightful blend of spices and textures. It's evident that the chef has a knack for crafting this traditional Arabian dish. The staff were very welcoming and explained us about the dish which made us even more enthusiastic. Alongside top-notch service and a great atmosphere, Bawarchi's Chicken Mandi is a must-try for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

The Bawarchi Indian Cuisine restaurant is a good place for lunch and dinner. We have ordered the Goat Dum Biryani and Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani and the taste is very good. You can ask for extra plain biryani rice if you need it. The cost is reasonable. I really loved the biryani and staff is also very friendly. The desert is very good. We have ordered Rasamalai.

Ordered takeout for Guttivankaya pulao & karampodi Gobi, the quantity is very less compared to the portions served in Dine in. Got 3 small egg plants & 4 spoons of rice and they added 2 medium lemon wedges & onions which should be given on the side. Wont recommend this restaurant for takeaway, other Indian restaurants always give decent portions of food when ordered for takeaway.

We ate here and the food, like Chicken Dum Biryani, Veg Chettinadi, Plain Dosa, Chicken 65, and Plain Naan, was really tasty. The only downside was that the biryani portion was a bit small. The restaurant's atmosphere was just okay, and the service wasn't great. The server seemed more interested in her phone than taking care of customer's needs, so we had to ask for water twice. A bit of rude hospitality that could be improved.

Food is good. I like the spicy levels and the variety available. Food takes about 15-20 to come, it's okay if you are not in a hurry. This is a dine in as well as a take out. I should say it's a hybrid of both. Courteous service and clean location.Food: 5/5

I recently visited Bawarchi and while the ambiance wasn't anything to write home about, the food definitely made up for it! From the moment we sat down, we were greeted by a friendly server who was happy to make recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu. The dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious, and it was clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into each dish. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the spices were just the right amount of heat. The chicken tikka masala was particularly noteworthy, as was the fragrant biryani. While the ambiance wasn't particularly memorable, it was still pleasant enough - the decor was understated and the lighting was warm and inviting. And despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the service was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for fantastic Indian food.
