Story

BBVA Compass Stadium, an AEG Facility, is a state-of-the-art, open-air stadium designed to host Houston Dynamo matches, Houston Dash matches, and Texas Southern University football games as well as additional professional, collegiate and community sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, conventions and special events. Opened on May 12, 2012, the 340,000-square foot, 22,000-seat stadium is the first soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer located in a city’s downtown district. With its downtown location, the new stadium is a part of a true ‘Stadium District,’ which includes Minute Maid Park and the Toyota Center, as well as the George R. Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, Warehouse Live and House of Blues.

My 1st time coming to this stadium. Happy 10th Anniversary.. may 13 ... We drove 12 hr to arrive here. To see Nashville SC play. They lose but we had fun. The food drinks and candy were great. Staff very nice and the people nice wish us safe travel
Such a great place! We have attended almost all of the home Dynamo games this season. It’s been such a wonderful family time together! The stadium is always clean and the staff is amazing. Already looking forward to next season!
My first time here. I was here for a job. I gave 3 stars for the heat while working. The customers were really nice. Open and spacious. I'd love to actually got to attend a game there.
So much fun for the whole family. The Dynamo were amazing. They lost the game we went to but it was still great. We went on 713 night. That is $7 admission, $1 hot dogs, and $3 beers. I can't wait to go back.
First time going to a Houston Dynamo game for me and my son. A really cool stadium. The staff was awesome and very friendly. $7 dollar ticket night $1 hot dogs $3 beer. We can't wait to come back!
It's a great stadium to watch a game when the weather isn't too hot. There's no air flow, so it's miserable from April to October. For some reason, food lines are always extremely long and very slow. Sometimes it seems like more people are waiting in line than setting in seats. Parking is becoming a problem and is expensive. The stadium bag policy is ridiculously small and blindly enforced, even for purses.
I was lucky enough to work here during the summer as security event staff! I was never really a soccer fan before this year but working at so many game the fans enthusiasm, energy and love towards the game spreads like cancer! Every time the Dynamos made a goal you can feel the intensity and emotion that it sucks you into game involuntarily. The stadium is just a perfect size with all the different restaurants and stores it has that all Houstonians should be proud to have in the city. Also lets not forget the fans love for the game that they have made there own percussion drumline band that goes crazy at the games with all the lound beats!
Great time today first time at this stadium and only 2nd time at a live soccer game, Let's go Dynamo, food is good, the events and interaction with the fans is , one thing I would adjust is how fast diesel rides on his car shooting out shirts alot of sections were missed I understand maybe limits on shirts but nice for each section to at least get a chance at cool gear
We went to the opener last night and I have to say the stadium is beautiful inside and out... seats were awesome and the atmosphere was unbelievable... Well until next time signing off Two Peas
This place is excellent to enjoy a game. All the seats are super affordable and even the cheapest ones offer a great view. Also the energy is great. The cheering section on the end of stadium labeled as hustle town can get rowdy so if you want a quiet experience don't get seats over there
