I don't know if we just ordered well or what but everything was perfect. The fried oysters were crispy and cooked just right in the center. I can't remember ever having better red beans and rice. My wife said the French toast was made with an amazing brioche soaked just right with a nice balance of pecans, cinnamon and syrup.
We had the jambalaya and gumbo. It was pretty good. The cornbread... not so much. It tasted like cake. My family is from NOLA so we're a bit picky.
Really great Cajun place in reading terminal market. Had the Trainwreak and Creole Chicken corn chowder. The trainwreak is pretty much a spicy cheese steak. Trainwreck consists of Steak, Salami, Andouille Sausage, Cheese and Onions Highly recommended
Got there about one, it wasn't busy. I'll return with my friends. Prices that won't shock you.
Not this place has the best Cajun food. I never really liked the taste of Cajun until I tried Becks Cajun Cafe. The prices are awesome.
Really nothing but good experiences here. This place has a cool atmosphere.
I had the blackened catfish poboy, and while good tasting, it fell apart into a sloppy mess at the end. Not bad overall. The fries were also a little strange. I was picturing real fries, not quartered potatoes. But despite all that, it was still pretty good.
