Beck Tavern

Megan the bartender is awesome. The beer is so cold you should just order two off the get go because the first one is going down quick. This is basically a home town bar. It has that off the beating path bar feel. The group was very happy I found it. We are all happy to of had the chance to stop in.

Beck tavern is a classic in Columbus. One of the best dive bars with a good selection of beer on tap and darts. They had a free TV's too so you can catch whatever game is on.

Love the bar - favorite dive in Columbus area. Owners absolutely need to get rid of Jen the bartender. Awful, nasty human. How has she not been fired yet? Will continue to lose business if she sticks around

First time here Thursday... Maybe 20 people. Very low music. Sat for 20 mins..not even a hello. Served people re-upping. I'll never come back here nor will I recommend. What were the reviews thinking? Go somewhere where you can have fun.

After getting a first hand experience with the staffs distain for mixology lol. I've learned to keep it simple and don't ask for random cocktails. If I'm being honest, I think if the owner and staff were taken on an all inclusive vacation for holding it down for the community. They would return with vigor and passion that would warrant another 2 stars. They are not bad people by any means, quite the opposite. They are very smart, genuine, interesting , hard working, down to earth people. I get the sense they are warn out and just need a break that doesn't break the bank.

Great Bar, but don't come on Tuesday when Jen works. Never in my life or my 8 years of bartending have I ever met a more miserable, bitter, woman. Owner needs to 86 this old bitty.

Pretty good dive bar in German Village. Friendly staff and guests. We just had beers.

Beck Tavern is the perfect laid-back dive bar in a beautiful, sleepy neighborhood. If you like darts, touch tunes, good company and old booths you're definitely going to like this place.

Highly recommend this place. I travel for work and was in the area. Great place to enjoy a beer. Good atmosphere. The bartenders were very nice. If you are from out of town and want a nice local place to go this is the place to go to.

I always have a great time when I go there. Great service, darts, and a golf game for those who want to play. Reasonably priced and is on my list of places to visit again when I am in town. I also like the selection of music played at Becks. You also have the opportunity to use the digital juke box.
