This is a great place to get chocolate. I also love that they kept the building as original as they possibly could. It's very well maintained. My only complaint is that it's very narrow when you walk in. If it's busy, people get bunched up quickly near the register and no one else can walk in to browse.

Your stepping back in time here, such a great place. I tried the Pretzel French Dip style sandwich. Let me tell you this, I have tried this sandwich all over the state and this place nailed it. Other places have it either to fatty, tough, stringy, dry, raw, or dry. But the cook here should teach them how to make it because it's spot on perfect. They also make there own chocolate and ice cream. Tons of different Sunday's to try. Just stop and try it you won't be disappointed.

Just such a lovely old-fashioned ice cream and homemade candy store. Mahgoney booths, old fashioned I've cream dishes. The chocolates are excellent as well. Some designs are clever. Did you know you that if you don't want a chocolate bunny, you can get a chocolate high heel, or ground hog instead?

I ordered a box of chocolate covered cherries for my mom, the vast majority of which broke in transit. I called and Beernsten kindly and promptly sent a new box. That box arrived perfectly - and triple packaged! My mom said they are delicious - and all before Valentine’s Day! A big thank you for outstanding service and delicious cherries!

I've never had any sweets here but it's a neat classic candy store. I had a sandwich there and it wasn't terrible for a little sandwich and a bag of chips. I'm not a big sweets guy but for those of you who are you will likely be satisfied here.
