Bellalinda Pet Sitting

The best pet sitting service I have ever used. We have used the service for several years now and they are extremely reliable, very professional, accommodating, very caring with our cat and dog, and totally trustworthy. I feel comfortable leaving my pets in their care not only on a daily basis, but on extended leaves as well. They are flexible in their scheduling, follow all instructions to a tee, and even inform us of any changes in our cat or dog's habits. They have recommended excellent veterinarian services as well. I love coming home and reading the daily log of our pets' adventures for the walk/visit. Can't say enough positive things about the service. Fantastic!!

AWFUL!! Before we left, Linda the owner assured us that she was a professional, as was her staff, and they are very good at what they do. From my experience, this couldn't be further from the truth. I do not recommend anyone ever use this service as this was the worst experience I have ever had with a pet sitter. We have two dogs who exclusively go outside to the bathroom on a regular schedule 3 times a day. When we go out of town we hire a pet sitter rather than put our dogs in a kennel. On the first day of our 5 day vacation we needed a mid-day and evening visit. After the first visit we received a text message that they were only able to walk one of our dogs because the other hid under the bed. Then after their second visit, and last of the evening, we received another text that our dog hid again and therefore they still didn't take her out and would "try again tomorrow". How do you "try again tomorrow" when referring to one's bladder?!?!?! Our dog had now not gone to the bathroom in over 12 hours and was left in a house with no alternative way to go to the bathroom and no one would return until the next morning - so 24 hours after the dogs last bathroom break. WHO RUNS A DOG WALKING BUSINESS AND DOES NOT WALK A DOG?!?! I called the owner upset to find out why they were okay just leaving a dog in a house without going to the bathroom. The owner was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do if the dog wasn't coming out. Then she started making up all kinds of lies saying one of her staff members was still at the house trying to get her out from under the bed - then she said she got her out and was taking her for a walk - then when I asked for her to text me a picture of her out walking she called me back and said, "oh, she thought she got her out, but she "air snapped" so she was still hiding. All kinds of lies to make me think someone was actually caring for our dog! I kept asking her how she can just leave a dog in a house when they have to go to the bathroom and she had no answers. If she were really a professional, she would not have left a dog behind in a house without walking them. After I got very pushy, the owner finally said she would go back over to our house and try one more time. Frantic, since we were 1000 miles away, we called our niece to go to our house to take our dog for a walk since the "professional" certainly could not handle a dog walk. When she got their she found that none of her staff members were at the house and our dog peed on our brand new ottoman as a result of not being taken out. (keep in mind our dog has never peed on anything before!) To top it all off, she was not even phased that our dog had peed on the ottoman, as if it were our fault because our dog hid. Needless to say we fired her immediately and had our niece complete the weekend. Nothing is worse than being 1000 miles away and feeling helpless because the service you hired is beyond unprofessional and cannot fulfill the basics of taking a dog to the bathroom.
