Enjoyed my stay while at Arts and Music Festival. 1 breakfast so so, but dinner and the next breakfast-amazing. Wait staff very nice. Loved sitting on the patio and walking the halls looking at old Benbow Inn photos.

The drinks were great. Would have been better outside with some food but food wasn't allowed outside until memorial weekend... We ended having to wait an hour before dinner. Website said five, but when we got there it was six. I thought the food would be worth the wait but it was not. The food was mushie , it looked trouble and smelled nasty. At least my daughter's fries were good. Serve was good though.

Benbow Inn is immaculately maintained, with beautiful gardens and outdoor patios overlooking a river and pastoral bridge. Stately sitting rooms with community jigsaw puzzles on tables, lots of books and periodicals and afternoon tea and scones! A full bar and dining room also are in premises. A very comfortable venue in which to unwind and relax.

This is an amazing historic hotel. Has all the fine touches of a world class hotel. Amazing to find such a place in a remote part of Northern California. My first impression was, “This reminds me a little bit of the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite.“
I was greeted warmly at the front desk. I had a room on the third floor. A decanter of Sherri awaited me on my desk as a complementary offering.
I’ll definitely return. And I’ll bring my family.

Benbow Inn is a classic old hotel unequaled in the area. Outstanding, from the architecture to the old world craftsmanship of the interior and those antique furnishings. Set beside the river and nestled in an ancient redwood grove the Inn is a must do, one of a kind place to stay.
