Benson Community Center

For the last two years I have had my taxes done here. It is very nice of them to allow the use of their facility for this purpose. The facility was clean and has tables and chairs. They also have a kitchen area and restrooms. They hold varies events for seniors and others.

They also have Salvation Army people who can help you with unexpected expenses if you qualify.

It's supposed to be a "Senior or community center" the only "community/senior" activity they have is bingo and that sucks bc the payout's $2 and the people that work it are rude. Although our town Literally QUADRUPLES in size with seniors who snow bird, the "senior center" does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and I MEAN NOTHING to enrich the lives of seniors nor the community. This place certainly doesn't value it's seniors as evidenced by the crappiest, (nonexistent)senior/community center programs

Pool pen an hour...it was lightning in a town 15 miles away so closed it down. No lets get out for a bit to make sure all is safe. Nope...get out go home. No refunds. The child life guards are sweet but the hateful witch in charge of the city community areas needs replaced. She is just rude, mean and totally unsuitable to be in any position of customer service.
