Bernard's Mediterranean Restaurant

The only reason this place has such great reviews is because most people in Tyler think Tradition's is fine dining. Whataburger has better food and service then this place. The atmosphere and ambience is lipstick on a pig, beautiful but can't mask the truth that comes from the kitchen. Chris at the bar was amazing but unfortunately his friendliness didn't make up for Danielle's incompetence. By far, this was the worst dinning experience I've had in a long time. I could expect to be disappointed like this at Chili's and pay a third as much.

The food is very good but the decor needs to go. When I’m paying $265 for dinner I would prefer for my table not to wobble. Very dark and very dated, needs a serious facelift, but again, the food is tasty, I have never been disappointed with that. I think I would be there a lot more often if the inside was upgraded.

Will never come to this place again just based off the owners behavior. His personal truck was blocking my car (which was in a parking spot ) and his truck was not - he was actually preventing 3 cars from leaving. I asked someone if they could move the truck because I had to pick up my daughter from daycare and he told me he could pretty much block because he owns the restraint and even told me park at my own risk. He was preventing me from getting my daughter and would never support a man who has no respect for a single working mother. Ill talk my business elsewhere. He moved after 10 minutes of making me wait.

I was looking for a caterer ... So, I had lunch at Bernard's with my husbands staff/my friends. Loved it! The catering was for an upcoming Christmas party of about 20, consisting of my husband's management team and spouses. Having spoken with and chosen Bernard for the catering, neither I or any single person at my party were disappointed!! It was fabulous! Bernard made some last minute changes to the original menu, which were all fine and enjoyed. This party was important to me and to my husband. We wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and feel treated. Bernard came through and I look forward to his catering again in the future!! I would say that though you're feeling stressed with details, try to be flexible and trust he'll make it right! Thank you so much Barnard!!

Bernard's is great. My favorite place in Tyler. Food is always excellent and the staff is amazing. Keep up the good work .
