Best Place At the Historic Pabst Brewery

We went for a Shakespeare Raw show. I had never been in the space...apparently its a very popular wedding venue. I thought it was laid out nicely...there's a courtyard a little bar area and a main hall. I would definitely return. It wasn't difficult to find parking nearby on a Tuesday at 700p. Bartender from Best Place was great.

My team loves when we get to DJ at this venue. Such a cool building, the decor and architecture is gorgeous. Their staff is always friendly and engaging, JOSH IS THE BEST BEARD...I MEAN BARTENDER EVER!!! Truly, very helpful, thorough, accommodating. They helped make our event there this weekend, a breeze. We did a tour last summer, what a fascinating and cool artifact of Milwaukee and beer history! Our tour guide Scott was engaging and hilarious, the beer was a tasty accompaniment they offer a variety but of course I had to get a PBR, and we got to meet Jim the owner. The Best Place is a loving preservation of an important piece of history and definitely worth visiting, especially to see the painted glass German gnome windows.

We had our wedding at Best Place at Pabst Great Hall and Speakeasy. It was absolutely phenomenal and gorgeous! It's such a beautiful venue and the staff was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. They really helped and worked with us through the shifting plans due to COVID, and really helped our event feel unique. I would absolutely recommend Pabst for events and may need to find an excuse to be able to come back! Thank you for everything!!

Photographing weddings here is a dream! I have done a few and cannot ask for a better staff and spaces to document couples. Looking for a historical, Milwaukee gem of a venue to share with guests, look no further. You can't get more Milwaukee than this! From the architectural details to the original signs. The building has been restored to its original glory.

Didn't actually go inside but the whole campus area is pretty neat and true to its original look and feel. The large overhead Pabst sign really gives you a a feel in perspective of the size of pbr's momentum and Power back a century and a half ago. It's quite amazing that the beer is still going strong and the architecture is for the most part, still authentic and traditional looking. You can easily tell the original buildings based on the stone masonry and pointed Peaks. There are several more modern buildings interspersed amongst them, but the quad in general has a really timey feel.

The Best Place was literally the best place for our wedding on 10/2/21. Everything was beautiful - the ceremony in the outdoor courtyard, reception in blue ribbon hall, and all the history the venue has. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, especially the coordinator Sarah. A little slow to respond sometimes but ALWAYS got back to us with thoroughly answering our questions. When it started to rain, the staff did everything to make sure things were perfect. We loved how reasonable this venue was and the customizable bar packages. We were able to have our dream wedding within our budget. The only downside I can think of for this amazing venue was the later ceremony/start time. We weren't contracted to start until 5pm and unable to start setup until 2pm. To alleviate the stress of set up, I designated some family to do it and gave them detailed instructions with pictures on how to do it. It ended up working really well. Thank you SO much to everyone at the Best Place for hosting our event and helping us create our whimsical, ethereal, cottage core vibe wedding.

The American Legion held its 103rd National convention in Milwaukee Aug 24 - Sept 2. Michigan American Legion held thee best ever party held here at The Best Place! The owners and staff are outstanding to work with and provided the Best service and facilities that we could have hoped for! Highly recommend this location for the event you might be thinking about booking, it is not the standard cookie cutter hall and has all the tradition and history to go with it.

The tour was great. I highly recommend experiencing the historical reminiscing of the Pabst Brewery whilst sipping a fine, cold PBR. Cool stop in a neat little section of Milwaukee.
