Story

The Wisconsin Center is one of the few convention centers we know of that people visit just to admire, but don't let that fool you; it's a hard-working facility in a hard-working city. The Wisconsin Center is designed for both sensory delight and astonishing efficiency, and operated with strict attention to customer service. It's home to the $1.2 million Burke Family Collection of commissioned and integrated art, and some of the most advanced and IT infrastructure anywhere. With equal ease, it handles the gritty realities of tradeshow setup and offers exquisite elegance for formal banquets.

Owned and operated by the Wisconsin Center District, a government body created under Wisconsin State Statute in 1994 to fund, build and operate the Midwest Express Center (now Wisconsin Center) in downtown Milwaukee, and continue operating the existing venues now called the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and Milwaukee Theatre.
