A nice hotel with a fun unique theme throughout. The facility is dated - no elevators - but they've done the best possible keeping it up to date. The date was friendly and mostly very helpful. The breakfast was alright... Food was standard hotel fair, but it was dishes up for us. Seemed odd, but it worked fine. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
Stayed here while in Colorado for a friend’s wedding and this hotel provided a great home base between wedding events. Beds were comfy and the mini fridge and microwave really came in handy during our multi-night stay. If you’re particular about your pillow size, you might want to bring your own as these are small and square?. My only other observation was that the breakfast setup is a bit odd. Unlike most hotels with continental breakfasts, hot items were not self-serve and guests had to ask staff for items, which seemed kinda weird, especially because some of the food was not particularly warm even at 7:30 am. Overall, a nice stay with some … eccentricities.
What a great find in Lakewood! We were back in town to finalize the sale of our home and final move. This location was very convenient for us. We were so surprised how great everything was! The room was impeccably clean and nicely appointed with a microwave and fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was perfect for my tall husband. The staff was very friendly and responsive. We cant speak to the breakfast as we didn’t eat during our stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!
Pet friendly! Bed was comfortable and the shower head was a good pressure/stream. Breakfast had scrambled eggs + meat + hash browns as well as cereal. The coffee in the room was passable. The coffee at breakfast was a little weak. I ended up buying coffee while I was out.Rooms: 3/5
Great stay. Awesome dinosaur theme & displays. Nice breakfast. Good location. Free coffee & water at all hours. Nice outdoor pool & hot tub. Gym could use work, but it's fine.Rooms: 4/5
We chose this hotel because it was near red rocks amphitheatre and decently priced. Quiet location, not much for bars or restaurants within walking distance. Room needed some updates and could have been cleaner, but it was ok. Breakfast was good, pool and hot tub looked nice.Rooms: 4/5
Amazing hot tub! Clean, perfect temp and strong jets. The breakfast was also very good. The hotel and grounds were well maintained, but the room itself was just ok. The carpet had a few stains and the bed was very “springy”. It was comfortable enough however, I slept well. Overall I was very satisfied, especially for the price.Rooms: 3/5
Unfortunate experience. I rented a King Suite last night. This is a two room suite. Only one heater worked & the lock on the door is busted. I found this out trying to get back into my room after a soak in the hot tub. I stood at the front desk hollering, wet, freezing in my bathing suit for over a half hour for someone to help with the door. If the front desk clerk isn’t available at the front desk, at least have some way a guest can reach someone in an emergency. What an awful experience to have to pay for!
My family and I were forced by the icy weather to stay here for 3 days. It was the best place we could have possibly landed. The kitchen and counter staff went out of their way to be kind to us regarding all of our requests. Our 4 year old LOVES dinosaurs and he couldn't get enough of the mini museum in the lobby, the murals, and especially Zane. He is there Fri-Sun from 7-10am even on Christmas. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in answering all of our dino questions. He had many figurine dino replica to talk with us about. What a gift to the customers of this unique hotel! We've never experienced anything else like it! The beds were full size, even though they call them "queen" but that's really my only complaint.
