Hampton Inn Denver-Southwest/Lakewood

Hello fellow travellers, I was impressed by the kindness of the kitchen director *Vickie*, and *Steven* at the front desk was always helpful and friendly. Vickie was eager to provide and even PREPARE gluten free options for my sons, and I saw her performing the same service for a vegetarian family. The hotel has a VERY nice gym with those modern steppers with concurrent arm workout, and treadmills, weights from 25 lbs and up, exercise balls and medicine balls. Gym was open 24 hours which is great. There was also an indoor swimming pool that we didn't have time to try. The hotel was clean and there were no disappointments. Be prepared for heavy room doors... were too hard for my kids to open. This would be important to elderly or disabled folk.

I very much enjoyed my three night stay. The room was clean and very quiet. I was very impressed by the greeting we got upon arrival by Karen. She made us feel very welcomed and even had a connection to my home state of VA. which made me feel like I had a friend in CO. Karen also worked the breakfast station and was extremely accommodating as was all of the staff there. I would definitely stay here again.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are okay without room service or toilet paper!! Very nice-looking hotel with EXTREMELY BAD service. We stayed there for 5 nights for a wedding/family reunion and requested room cleaning on our 3rd night. It was not done. The next morning, I asked the front desk and she said that she'll put in the request again. We came back at night and it's still not cleaned. Sunday morning we asked again but nothing is done. This is not a Covid time where you can't get cleaning services??? We checked out with frustration of terrible service request. It seems like they don't really care much what you asked for. Karen even mentioned that she'll bring up this complaint with the manager. No one called me the following days until I called back 2 days later, asking for manager but couldn't get him. Left a message but again no phone calls. I called back 2 days later and talked to a "manager" and again given the promise that he'll look into it. Nothing is done at all or even an explanation of why we can't get our room clean for 1 time only of 5 nights with the exception that they are new and working on it???? We ran out of toilet papers and had to ask for it? This is NOT the preferred Marriott chains that we stayed for many times of our travel.

Very nice stay= great staff especially the Fri-Sunday breakfast crew! Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the alarm clock went off very early- i think that's something that staff should make sure is turned off when room is prepped.Rooms: 5/5

We truly had a wonderful Stay and its remodeled and Karin front Desk clerk was so nice and helpful and so where Erik. We would stay here again and again. The food in the morning was more than a continental one it was closer to a full breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning and freshly infused water in the lobby was wonderful!!! Thank you for my stay Guys.

10-12 mins from Redrocks, which is so nice for short concert trips. The area of the hotel is nearby many food options, dispensaries & some shopping. The whole facility is very clean & inviting. The breakfast had individual breakfast sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal bar with toppings, juice, coffee, waffle maker, bagels, & yogurt-really good for hotel breakfast! The room was clean & spacious, the water pressure was meh-but it had all you could need in it-not sample sizes full bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash. My only complaint was the bed was a tad too firm 4 star reasoning, however, if you like firm then you’ll be good. Overall great hotel for the price!

Seems very new and everything in great condition. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had waffles and prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, etc. Would stay again.Rooms: 5/5

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Hotel is brand new so it hasn't been destroyed yet but housekeeping will be their downfall. Asked for room service for the following day, even called the front desk the morning off to confirm that my room was on the list. I never got room service or any explanation as to why. Will not be returning.

Great hotel stay. Clean and quiet with all the amenities you would need. Our room was a 2 queen with an office area that had a pullout bed. Staff was friendly breakfast was great!Rooms: 5/5
