Nice shul, still going since 1927 and listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. I have a special connection to this shul, as my Great Grandparents, Nechama and Morris Kestin prayed here in the 1930s and 40s. See photos in the book, Ten Times Chai: 180 Orthodox Synagogues of New York City.
This shul is a hidden gem. Most people don’t know it’s orthodox however the Rabbi & members are lovely, warm & friendly Orthodox Jews. There is a full blown kiddush every Shabbos as well as Shalosh Seudos. If you’re in the area stop by and see for yourself!
Very friendly. The Rabbi is young and very good. Particularly with youths. There will be meals after dovening on Simchas Torah night and day. And a sit down Kiddush meal ever Shabbat day after dovening. Very nice congregation.
Was a great experience at the wrong place
Great room for events
