The only social justice they care about is the kind that brings in money or raises attendance. They don’t care about unpacking the oppression they benefit from. It’s hypocritical. I’m appalled by the way I was treated by this synagogue. The very same one I went to preschool in. It is a shame.
Fantastic community. An exemplar of 21st century Yiddishkeit with justice as its core. Exceptional clergy, especially the Associate Rabbi. Above average spread at the oneg.
Wonderful bar mitzvah service. The Rabbi was extremely interested in making certain that the congregation understood the heartfelt meaning of the service. She was very inspirational. And my grandson did a great job too!
Very lively services and engaged clergy, many small group activities offered to members
Love it! Friendly, warm & welcoming!
Rabbi Rachel Timoner's sermons + Cantor Josh Breitzer's music + a great Brownstone Brooklyn community = Jewish awesomeness. Looking forward to the next, no joke, Idan Raichel concert.
Wonderful place and many different aspects of learning,I had a question about particular things and someone was nice enough to answer all my questions
They do some really nice things in the community. It's also a beautiful space.
Not that that I went in but it always seemed to me to be the capital of park slope. Architecture wise anyway.
The security guards are the only friendly people there. It gives me the creeps.
