BETH'S BAKE SHOPPE & TEA ROOM(serves lunch 11-2)

When my friend and I first went for the cake tasting we were in a wonderland! The cakes on display r gorgeous and the little boutique area is simply adorable. Beth was very helpful with the cake ideas and her input was well guided. However our disappointment after paying 160 for a two tier cake was the flatness and dull cake we received. Two tiers one golden and one with ruffles doesn’t sound hard to make but by the looks of the cake it must have been difficult. It was not smooth in any sense and the colors were way off what she wanted. The cake looks like it doesn’t come from a high end bakery and honestly I was disappointed... I thought the cakes were supposed to look like those on display but I’m regretful to say that’s anything by the truth.

My fiance and I signed a contract with Beth's bakery to make our wedding cake. I'm not going to lie, the cake we sampled was very tasty, but how they handle customers is another story. I felt rushed and unimportant everytime I was there. Today I stopped by to pay the remaining amount and talk about the final decorations, and Beth was downright rude and spoke to me in a very negative way. I lost the $50 deposit we paid, but I'd rather lose that than deal with a high level of negativity during this very exciting and happy time. I hope no other brides leave there in tears like I did.

I love vegetarian quiche. They seem to have limited vegetarian options in general so I called to check first to see if it was available and to my surprise it was. I attempted to place my order and was told they just started lunch rush so I would have to wait an hour then call back to see if they still have enough. That's the point of me calling now so that you'll have enough to fulfill my order.

I have been here twice many years apart and enjoyed it both times. The food was great and the service was quick and helpful. I had the salad with the warm dressing and it was wonderful.

I was so happy with how my daughter's birthday cake turned out. They did a fantastic job of taking a picture that I sent them and turning it into a real work of art. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back.
