Very bad service! Exam rooms are old! Not organized! You may make an appointment and go there, after 10 min sitting in waiting room they can take you to exam room and be there alone for about an hour and no one check on you! When you are frustrated and want to leave they will tell that they are busy and that is what it is! So rude! They also charge your bill wrong and wont accept their mistake and wont change their billing code for the insurance to fox the error! Overall one of the worst places that you could go to for physical/annual!
I LOVE them! I have been to other urgent care centers in my area and AllCare has been by far the best one. It is really easy to set up an appointment be it either an in person or virtual visit. I really like that they are both Urgent and Primary Care. The doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!
I've been seeing them for more than 4-years and I've received an excellent care so far. The whole team is courteous and the online appointment platform including virtual appointments are very smooth. I've been seeing Dr. Zachary Strickland for more than an year now and I wouldn't want anyone but him as my PCP. One suggestion would be to add an option for pre-authorization request for medications on your online portal, so that we know where we stand and what's the progress. Thank you for taking care of me. Keep up the good work.
I've been with AllCare for almost a year now. Every time I have a quick question or need a medication adjustment, I am always consistently, 100% of the time ignored. If you need anything from these medical professionals, don't. Unless you make an appointment, they do not care at all about whatever it is you have a question about, no matter how serious. I've left many many messages, and was told that if you leave a message someone will get back to you, but that is never the case. Unless you are making an appointment, and paying them, they will not hear anything you have to say whatsoever. This is mostly an issue with the support staff. The doctors have been good, but the receptionists and support staff always make you feel unheard, disenfranchised, and uncared for. If there is a way to actually get a response from the office, I would love to know. They have left me without my medication for 3 weeks at a time, more than once. If I could afford to go anywhere else, I would.
I miss the now-closed Glen Echo location, but there are many of the same Drs at this one. Making appointments is easy and convenient. Small details like masks at the front desk, or the shelf next to the scale so you can put your things down were appreciated. You can park in a garage across the street.
Visited this facility yesterday for an injured little toe. First off, the location on busy Wisconsin Avenue is a problem. I wasn't able to find out ahead if there was parking. I parked on a side street with meters, only to find out later that there is a garage parking a block away. The instructions were not easy to understand. I suggest that if you are not able bodied, have someone drop you off. The doctor was pleasant enough. However, there is little to do for my toe, except wait for healing in a few weeks. She bandaged the two little toes together, but I had to remove this as it caused more pain. At least I got confirmed that my injury just has to go the course for healing.
I was using AllCare for my primary care needs but had to stop when I changed to Medicare at the end of last year. When I tried to make an appointment and update my insurance, AllCare told me that they were no longer accepting Medicare. I’m pleased to say that this is no longer the case. I saw Dr Kopmancaril, a new Dr for me and I was very happy with the care I received.
Tata M has great bedside manners to compliment her knowledge and care for patients. She did not rush me and genuinely listened to my concerns and offered me options and a referral for my visit. I will definitely return if I need additional medical assistance.
To be fair, the rating is an average between admin and the actual Drs. The Dr I saw was great/smart- however she was late for admin reasons like: no one told her she had an appointment. Lol So I had to call the front desk to ask someone to tell her. Their"patient portal" has a broken messaging center that the admin was unsure if anyone was fixing. Um,a suggestion: maybe post a message or deactivate it? When I tried to send the Dr test results that were also not posted to the "patient portal" so she could complete the process of telling me her feedback on test results she ordered, only by phone did I learn they had the results by fax just didn't post them or let me know and also didn't give them to the Dr so she could give me the results feedback. This was after I called and the office phone and it just just went into open air... No ' hello' just ambient papers and talking sounds. I had to yell hello!! for someone to pick up. Weird thing is, she answered by saying: thanks for holding. ?? I would love to work with that Dr but I avoid bad admin like the plague.
Talked to somebody on the phone, made an appt online at the Glen Echo location per instructions, showed with my sick child, and the office was closed, dark. The sign on the outside building door said that normal business hours had resumed before the date of our appointment. Nobody in the organization could figure it out or locate the "manager." Very unprofessional. I will never use this location again. Ended up at a different location, fortunately, and was happy with our visit there, great care.
