I have been with Spectrum for a few months now. I was with Time Warner before the merge and I have had the worst problem with the consistency of my bill. It went from $89.00 now to $498.00. I need my internet but due to the present situation i am in now i can no longer afford to have Spectrum. The representative don't want to work with any type of payment arrangements at all. I feel it is unfair how I am being treated right now as a customer and I've been with the company for a while.

I have been contacted by this branch in regards to my complaint. It was brought to my attention that they are not the office that handles my BBB account. They were very professional and courteous and provided me with the information needed to properly file my complaint. I appreciate it. (I wonder if the Better Business Bureau would have a good BBB rating? My guess would be probably not. Maybe they should spend a little more time practicing what they preach rather then trying to bully small businesses into giving them money for "accreditation." I didn't know that racketeering was an "accredited" business practice. If you are interested in discontinuing your slander against myself and my organization, I do recommend you get in touch with me promptly. Otherwise, legal recourse will be my next option.)

I was a member of BBB of Greensboro for several years and when I considered retiring I gave up my membership. That lasted for I guess about a year and a half. Instead of reducing my work activities I actually was getting requests that required even more work duties. I began to wish that I had not given up that membership with the BBB. Then I received a call from the BBB of Greensboro NC and they wanted to know if I wanted to once again become a member. I gladly accepted the offer. I have personally known some of their previous employees that have now retired so I feel a great degree of comfort knowing that they have helped so many businesses in the past.

DO NOT bother with the BBB. If you're having difficulty with a large company as Suntrust Bank, the BBB will not intervene since they're paid off by large companies. I had absolutely no success here but when I filed my complaint with the FDIC, they took action. I'm simply sadden BBB no longer works for the average person. Companies like Suntrust will purchase a yearly BBB membership and with this, the BBB will not go against them....SAD!!!!
