I am having a great experience by renting from Bickerstaff Parham Property Managers. A few months ago the furnace quit in our rental home. They were very responsive and sent experts to assess if repair was possible or replacement necessary. They were very thorough in exploring all possibilities which is what I would expect if I were the homeowner. They were good stewards of the homeowners money. A new furnace was required and it was ordered and installed in two days! They had to cut the hole bigger was the new furnace so then that had to be repaired, drywalled, and painted. I was surprised at how quickly the whole process was done from start to finish. Every worker who came stayed in contact with me and worked around my schedule so I could be home while they were there. Each one cleaned up all the dust and debris after every visit! All were very professional and made it the most tolerable situation possible. Best part - my electric bill's were noticeably reduced with the new unit! I highly recommend Bickerstaff Parham if you are a renter or an owner.

My husband and I found a rental we loved and emailed three times about it and never heard a response. We then called and got in touch with them to set up an appointment to go look at the house. After looking and loving it more in person, we went to put in our application minutes after our tour, but we were informed the house had been rented a couple of days ago. Needless to say, we were shocked they still took us on a tour when the house was already rented. We were very disappointed and do not recommend.

Submitted a maintenance request for my refrigerator on March 28, 2018 it's now April 9th, and my fridge has still not been looked at. No scheduling of maintenance of points of contact since I called to have the fridge serviced. I've had to throw away food over the past weekend due to food spoilage. I had to call the office twice today to get someone to talk to a vendor. This was handled very poorly and should have been a top priority as rentals go, very disappointed.
Update
Fridge was fixed and other work order is now being worked on. I would say Bickerstaff Parham has a good online portal for tenants being able to renew leases online and pay rent online has been really convenient. The maintenance service is still a bit slow but is getting better. So I'm chaining my rating from two stars to three.

Bickerstaff Parham Real Estate maintains my rental property. They keep it up to code and advise me in a timely manner of any necessary repair work that needs to be done. I have no complaints and that is what is important to me.

I lived at 2007 terrace drive 2015-2016 and it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. First of all they told me when we signed the lease that they check everything for bedbugs in between residents so if I bring them, I would have to pay for the treatment. I was like okay sounds great. But a few weeks after I was there I noticed a rash on my arm and 1 year old daughters back. Went to the doctor and yep, bedbugs. I called them and they said it didn't matter that it was only a few weeks, we lived there we we're responsible. So I called an exterminator who charged 1,200$ to treat it and said that since it was a duplex all the areas have them and this will only help for maybe a year . After treating he said he went in the bedroom and noticed white caulking on the boarder near the ceiling and when he sprayed it , it fell down and THOUSANDS OF BUG POURED OUT OF THE WALLS. That whoever was there last or the realty company was trying to cover them up as this was a really bad, long time infestation. After dealing with that the summer came, and out power bill went up to 390$/month ( for a very small 2 bed one bath duplex, no laundry connections) so we called and they didn't get anyone to fix it until September and when he did he said the unit was very old and never serviced. But that they replaced it and next year the power bill will be low ( ha). The final thing was in the fall, my daughters room had a leak in the ceiling, I called and they sent some man in an unmarked van who spray painted over the water damage and left about two weeks after I called. Then, in December I went to wake her up and couldn't get the door open, when I pushed through a huge part of the ceiling had fallen down and the smell of mildew choked me. I called and they said since it was close to Christmas it would be a while. So I took her stuff out, closed the door and she slept in my room until they fixed it ( several calls later ) in February. They put new ceiling up and when I asked about the mold they got out the trusty spray paint. I cannot stress this enough... Please think twice about renting from them and DO NOT GO TO 2007 TERRACE DRIVE. Thats what made me post this, I saw they have it for rent now. I had to throw out everything I own because of the bugs and am truly scarred. Because they do not check their properties and lie.
