This is not your fancy pants, over priced and over hyped place. It is good eats and good prices. She has some amazing dishes on the kinds of comfort foods my family had as staples that we grew up with.

After eating at Big Mama's Kitchen a few times, I thought about trying this place out over lunch. It is tucked in an area that has been trying to revitalize itself, and they stepped up and brought their business there. We need businesses like that! Though there is not a place to sit and eat, It didn't bother me as I was on the go. I was greeted very politely--some places try to be nice and it comes as fake, I think the staff has it's heart and mind in the correct place. The cold chicken sandwich was the way to GO! I added some jalapeños for my tastebuds. It was reasonably price for a sandwhich-- Jimmy John's is a lot more and the quality doesn't compare. Try this place and be open-minded!
