Only been once, so far, and will likely return for parts. Can't beat the pricing and array of selection. Staff is friendly and busy, so expect to wait. Saw someone getting some training on bike repairs, who may have been a new bike rider learning how to care for their new/used bike. So it looks like they have an active community outreach program ? which would be a great thing as well!
I was stranded flat tire bikes together actually give me a tube to fix my bike and get back on the road these people are amazing when it comes to bikes I know quite a bit. I have a rear derailleur to have to run a cable on a grip shift. I'm hoping that I can get into one of the classes and get this taken care of as it's my only means of transportation at the moment!!. I'm just grateful that there is a program that will let you work on your bikes in their shop. Thanks for all you do bikes together
I purchased a bike through them recently, and got a dog trailer about a year ago. The staff helped me pick out the right kind/size bike and explained the features, etc. I feel like all of the people that work there are always super knowledgeable. I also think the prices are excellent.
The mechanic fixed a problem that started after I took my bike to a different shop, and also I bought some awesome colored used tires! Great deal and lots of selection of new and used parts and a great mission. Also the have a cool chandelier made of old bike chains that I’d awesome!
Extremely helpful and willing to give advice to anyone who has bicycle issues.
Amazing place. Top to bottom. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Prices are affordable. The concept of the place is lovely.
Told me my bike was not worth working onnot even a tune up, kept pushing me to recycle it right then and there. Then they insisted on me purchasing one of there bikes. Just took a once over of my bike then started showing me theirs for purchase, it made me uncomfortable how much they were pushing me to leave my bike there to recycle.
This place is fine. Just fine. Not great or terrible. Prices are fair for used parts and you can find a decent used bike. I advise going to other places for mechanic work or build advice. When I've asked for help on parts I've been given parts that don't work, don't fit, are cheap, etc. I understand that they get busy but cutting corners while fixing something that people use as a relatively dangerous form of transportation is a huge deterrent. If you're looking for good mechanics I recommend z cycle shop. Edit Upped my previous 2 star rating to 4 stars after going back and meeting Diana and Timmy. They were far more friendly and inviting than previous staff had been and I was severely impressed. They personified the inclusivity and positive vibes that this place claims to have and I am grateful for their help.
I came to the shop last sat to put travel bags on my bike. Diana was extremely helpful and found some great used gear for me. Both she and Tim were understaffed that day, but helped several customers while i was there with plenty of patience and kindness and good music. = Would highly recommend this shop and supporting them.
Great place to buy bikes. Kind people, highly recommended!
