i have always been so happy with the service here. great local bike shop with knowledgeable, helpful staff. so glad you're here! :
James is the only mechanic in town I trust working on my Eddy Merckx. He is extremely meticulous and very detailed oriented. He'll also go above and beyond to make sure your bike is working the way you like it. It's also so much fun to spend some time chatting about old classic bikes, races, and the Legends in the sport.
I could not be happier with the great service and attention I got throughout my bike fitting and selection process with TriBella and FitLoft. And the bike that resulted is truly my dream bike. These guys know how to treat a customer and they absolutely know bikes. James and Charles are true professionals; and there was ZERO elitism or arrogance, as can often be found at a high end bike shop. I highly recommend them without reservation if you want a high end bike that fits you like a glove.
I was looking forward to having my bikes serviced at TriBella after the website proclaimed that the business had a "non-intimidating and inclusive environment". My family was coming to town, so I was hoping to service my single speed for one of them to ride over the weekend. I called TriBella to ask if they serviced single speeds and the man who answered the phone proceeded to laugh and said "we only service bikes that cost $5,000 or more and we just serviced a $10,000 bike" and then continued to laugh and say that they would never service something like my bike?? There is nothing on the service area of their website that indicates they only service luxury bicycles, and I was baffled that this person talked to me this way. I think the man on the phone realized his behavior and said "I'm not trying to be rude, but". Well, sir, you were incredibly rude and incredibly condescending. What business talks to a potential customer that way? To all of the "peasants" out there that have bicycles that cost less than $5,000: your bicycles are no good here. To TriBella: my single speed is not my only bicycle, but you better believe that I will not be bringing my more expensive bikes to your shop. Non-intimidating and inclusive environment? I don't think so.
Went for a bike fit, felt like i wasted $400... they only wanted me to buy a bike from them and did not have my best interest in mind. Was completely underwhelmed with the fitting services and the environment overall. Would highly recommend going elsewhere for anything. Will not be going back or recommending anyone else to go there. They’re all great guys and extremely knowledgeable of the industry... might not find a group with more expertise than them. However, just not a great environment. Could sense the apprehension from the group because I didn’t buy a bike from them... just weird
John and James provide an expert service. Easily the best shop I’ve worked with. I’d trust them with my first born child!
This store is the best! I was ready for a major bike upgrade and immediately upon meeting the owner, James, I knew I wouldn't buy my bike anywhere else. I had the most thorough fitting, the best customer service and overall a fabulous bike buying experience. The TriBella team has helped me get fully equipped with the right gear for my first 1/2 Ironman. I can't say enough good things about Tri Bella.
I cannot say enough great things about this shop. I've gotten to know the owners, Liz and James, and their great employees, Chris, Justin, etc., so well over the years. They go out of their way for their customers and have even opened up their shop when they were closed when I had a bike emergency. I trust them implicitly and I never feel like they are trying to push me to buy their products. Instead they give honest opinions to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. I live on the other side of town and yet it is worth the drive to go to Tribellas.
Boutique ultra high-end bicycle shoppe. Carbon and Ti race bikes are the standard fare. Despite such exquisite gear, support and service is personable and intimate. Come to TriBella if you race bikes. They'll take care of you for race day.
First, the good...John the manager is so nice, personable & made excellent recommendations. Sean at the Denver Fit Loft gave me an awesome bike fit on my new Ventum. I'm never been so comfortable on a long ride. Awesome! Now, for the bad...I brought my $13K brand new bike to them for a build. Based on the reviews here, and having taken my old bike here a few years ago for a tune up in the past I decided to try them again. My fit was completed at 5:30pm on a Fri. The mechanic, who is also the owner, needed to make a few adjustments based on the fit & finish the build. He recommended that I don't cut a piece at the top for "better resale value," but that would have meant that all of the wiring on my "super bike" would have been exposed w/out the top cover that would be missing if that part of the bike wasn't cut down to fit my specific measurements. It seemed odd to me, & I was at a loss for words, & finally Sean said that it needed to be cut down. I was happy that he spoke up. That change took James an extra 30 min & I wondered if he was just eager to leave on a Fri night. Had he just told me that because my fit was later that he would need to finish in whatever time-frame he needed then I would have been okay w/that. I'm in customer service I certainly understand that it's not all about me. I took my bike home, eager to ride the following am. As I left to ride I went 20 feet & realized that I couldn't shift at all. What?!? I went back in the house & changed bikes. I called the store when they opened to tell them & they recommending me bringing my bike back, which is not exactly convenient. I did my ride on my other bike & brought the bike back that afternoon. They originally told me that it may be about 45 minutes & it turned into me waiting for over 1 hr, only to be told to leave it there because a wire on my shifters was pinched & it would take more time to fix. I ride my Cervello on my trainer during the week. So I only rode my Ventum 8 times. Then I was riding on a Sat. on a training ride. 55 minutes into my 3 hour ride & was going down a hill. All of the sudden I hear a loud noise, my wheel stops, I can't pedal, the back of my bike fishtails and I quickly try and break and then unclip. It's a miracle that I didn't crash. When I look to assess what happened with my bike, my entire derailer fell into the spoke of my BRAND NEW Enve wheels & there are 3 spokes completely broken. I had no idea how that happened or what exactly went wrong. I called my coach who is a very experienced bike mechanic used to work as a mechanic in a bike shop for 10 years, previous Cat 1 cyclist & regular AG winner in the 70.3 and Ironman distance. His exact words were that, "There is NO way that could have happened if the limit switch was adjusted at the time that the bike was built." I proceeded to ask follow-up questions to ensure that I was not at all at fault because people are quick to blame when they don't want to be responsible for costs associated w/their mistakes. I asked 3 other mechanics at 3 other shops & they confirmed the same info. When I called James, his response wasn't even empathetic. It was "I don't see how this could have happened. I've never heard of this. Because it's been over 90 days we can't be responsible" He also said that the problem with the Ceramic Speed detailers is that it's not meant to be used with the Shamano components. None of that was "disclosed" to me at the time of build. I spent over $2000 in the shop only to be told, "Sorry for your problem," with not the tiniest bit of empathy that my new $2500 wheel was broken & my $800 derailer was ruined after less than 10 rides. I will never return here. I'm lucky that their negligence didn't cause a horrific crash that day because had I not been very experienced rider w/12 yrs of bike handling skills something worse would have likely happened. In summary...if you're buying shoes or getting a fit - go for it! I wouldn't trust anything to the mechanic.
